    We enjoyed working with DRB Homes (formerly Brightland Homes) for our home purchase. We had a great experience with our sales consultant, Rose Rodriguez, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process. We also really appreciated our construction manager, John Truan, who kept us informed and ensured everything went smoothly. Overall, we’re very happy with our home and the experience we’ve had so far.

    While I understand that termite treatment is explicitly excluded from the standard DRB Homes warranty, the lack of support following an infestation less than two months after closing has been disappointing. Despite acknowledging the warranty terms, my requests for a professional referral or assistance in negotiating a treatment rate were met with repetitive scripts from the construction and area managers rather than actual solutions. For future buyers, I strongly recommend securing a written agreement prior to closing that requires the builder to cover termite treatment within the first 90 days. Alternatively, ensure you have the home independently treated immediately upon moving in to avoid significant out-of-pocket costs.

    Very happy with my DRB home buying experience. Will was always very responsive to all of my questions and requests. He is very knowledgeable and was so helpful throughout my new build. John, my construction manager, was also amazing. He clearly takes pride in his work in making sure the homeowner is happy with the construction of the home. He took care of any issues I had. My only complaint is that my house was built too fast. LOL!! This was a great experience and I love my DRB home.
