Wanted to put in a good word and highly recommend Christian from Wansley Refrigeration. I've got a 20yr old plus HVAC system which has picked this summer to need one service call after another. Maybe it's that time. However after two calls from another company, I decided to try someone else, and with a referral from a realtor friend, Christian came out repaired the previous repair. Turns out that is why the unit failed. He ensured that this time it was fixed! Two weeks later the blower fan on furnace gave out on a Friday. He responded immediately to my text. First thing Monday morning he came out to do the repair in a hot garage, same courteous, honest service call, taking his time, despite the heat to get the job done right! In this day and age it getting harder and harder to find this kind of customer service, no pressure to buy a new unit, no double talk, just identify the issue, repair it, and that's it! I highly recommend Christian and Wansley Refrigeration.

My air conditioner stopped cooling on the weekend with temps over 100°. Tech Jack came to my house as soon as he could to fix it. Jack was professional, knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend this young man.

We have been using Wansley since 2019 and have been incredibly pleased with their service. They are very responsive and always explain the situation and options clearly, and they come out to address issues promptly. They just installed our new a/c system and were available before anyone else, offered the best price, and did a great job. Couldn't ask for more!

Wansley does a great job. They are a small company but worth engaging. Bailey, the new owner, is exceptional. His mother, Mary, is the scheduler and is very highly regarded since she retired out of a very well regarded dental practice in NW Hills. Few of the family owned and run companies in town exist any longer. Wansley is an exception. They had to check the work of Radiant who we would give 0 stars because of their bad work. We recently had a partially plugged up drain line on our AC and had Radiant come out to check it. Rather than doing that properly, the “tech” for Radiant immediately started trying to sell us a new HVAC. He didn’t even test the system like every other AC tech would. He even wanted to start disassembling the 20 yr old system in a way I have never seen anyone do or attempt to do. I stopped him since it wasn’t clear he knew what he was doing and could reassemble it properly. Then the Radiant tech went outside and tried to argue our outside unit was going to fail because it was pulling “12 amps” off the line. He also couldn’t state what he thought was the problem other than inferring we get a new system. He didn’t even clear the fins on the unit, as all others had. I told him I would get a second opinion and to write down exactly what his diagnosis was. What he wrote down was marginally detailed at best. It provided no details to get a second opinion other than his suggestion the system was failing. Then I asked him to just ensure the drain line was clear by blowing it out, the reason we called. While he got the partial blockage cleared, he was too aggressive after that and blew a part of the line that likely simply blew stuff deeper into the AC. Since then, we have been sick, and had not had that issue before. He only seemed competent to act as a sales staff and not a tech. We had little problem with the system prior to him. Enter Wansley!! We called Bailey out to give a second opinion. The unit was workers properly and the outside unit was not over amping. Radiant either intentionally or through incompetence tested the main power line, which can be up to 16 amps (so 12 amps is fine). Bailey and Wansley properly serviced the system. Because of the improperly clearing the drain line, Radiant likely introduced microbe growth into the main part of the AC. We had to immediately prioritize having a good company come sanitize our HVAC. That was not cheap - but that company is good! Mr. Duct Cleaner owned by the Preston Family who did a great job. I separately reviewed them well. These large companies who bought out family owned businesses who ran HVAC service companies are increasingly sketchy. We had issues with Service Wizards after the Osgood Family sold. We had issues with the companies sold by the Strand Family, after the Strands were no longer managing them. While Radiant appears local (no clue) they seem focused on selling new systems, not servicing existing ones. New HVACs are not made as well as older ones. If you need your HVAC checked, call Wansley, talk to Mary and schedule Bailey or someone else with Wansley to check. I think you can get proper service from them.
