  I'm assuming they sent their best guy, because Jordan S. was just awesome. He replaced an enphase gateway that went bad, got solar, batteries and the generator all connected and online. He explained everything very clearly and was awesome to deal with. Thank you!

  I've never written a negative review and never felt like a contractor was trying to take advantage of me until dealing with this company. I called them because my panels had power and were connected but not producing. The tech did some troubleshooting but then said additional techs would need to come out and that it would cost roughly $2000. When I asked what the issue is the tech on-site could not provide an answer and said that is why the other techs needed to come out. I asked if the $2k was going to solve the problem but he couldn't answer that. He then went to his truck to call the owner. After that he did more troubleshooting and came back with a price of $3800 to rewire the system. I asked if that would solve it to which he responded "even if it doesn't you'll have me for half a day". None of this was making sense so I pushed him for a detailed breakdown. That's when the math got even more fuzzy. I ended up calling another company that came out and found the inverter is bad and determined it's under warranty. Interestingly, I asked the original tech from Solar Services about this and he said it's not the inverter and it wouldn't be under warranty because he saw evidence of moisture. The second company said there is no evidence of moisture in the box. They submitted a claim and the replacement part was delivered yesterday. They will be installing in next week. The second company also found one of the communication wires was disconnected so the system could not be viewed remotely. This was an odd finding because it was previously connected and being monitored. I know this company has a lot of good reviews but that is not my experience. I found them very shady and possibly preying on consumers knowing there is limited public knowledge in this space and few companies doing the work.

  Jordan from Solar Service was extremely professional and helpful to get our solar system back online! I called them on a Thursday and they were able to come out the next day and diagnose the issue, and the repair was completed the following week. He also offered some good recommendations for the solar system as well as the home electrical as a whole, and we ended up also installing whole home surge protection based on the recommendations. Service fees were reasonable and I am definitely happy with the work they performed. I will definitely call them again for any future work we need!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After months of frustration with my solar system being completely down since May, I finally found a company that truly cared about helping me. My original installer was no longer able to get my system back online, and I had almost lost hope. From the moment jordan Salina’s and team arrived, they were professional, knowledgeable, and determined to find the root of the problem. They took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and didn’t leave until my system was producing power again. Watching my panels generate electricity after months of seeing zero production was an incredible feeling. It’s rare to find a company that combines technical expertise with outstanding customer service, but they exceeded my expectations in every way. They turned what had been a stressful and frustrating experience into a positive one. I highly recommend them to anyone needing solar service, especially if you’ve been struggling to get answers elsewhere. Thank you for giving me peace of mind and getting my solar system back to doing what it was designed to do!

  The team at Solar Service saved us in these 102 degree days! Our power provider had a 12-hour outage that caused a fault between it and our solar system. Though the grid was back on, something with our solar system prevented us from getting grid power, necessary to run our AC unit. We were surviving solely on the battery backup system. We called Enphase, the product company. They tested the system but were unable to help. Per their recommendation, we called companies that Enphase listed as installers. We could only leave messages with them (fyi - Greenbelt was the only one that eventually called us back). We then looked up who is a local service company (not installer), saw the reviews for Solar Service, and gave them a call. The first surprise was that they actually answered (unlike the others)! Brian was super helpful. Although they were booked out a few days, he understood the severity of our situation. It wasn't necessarily a solar system repair that could be put off but something preventing us from being connected to the power grid when we needed AC. He squeezed in their technician, Zane, for that afternoon. Zane was awesome! Within an hour, Zane had it diagnosed and repaired! The problem was a 250V/60A fuse AND a surge protector. SOLAR SERVICE ROCKS!!!! I'm calling Enphase and making sure they have Solar Service listed as our main service company moving forward. After a month of numerous unexpected breaks and expenses with our house, it was a relief to find a company that treated us like human beings and were there to help, not take advantage.
