Burton did such a fantastic job! So much hard work was done between this amazing two-man crew. They were like a well-oiled machine working in complete sync with each other for hours until the job was done and then some. I'm so very pleased and happy to know my home is safe and secure. Thanks so much!

About a year ago, Mister Sparky came in and pretty much replaced all my outlets and junction box. Caleb Lewis came out as a service call. for a breaker that keeps tripping. He was polite and well informed. He looked at my problem and gave me good advice. I could not ask for more. Well, done, Caleb and Mister Sparky!

1st appointment they rebooked. 2nd appointment they rebooked. 3rd appointment they came out, and we set up a time to review their proposal when we were both home. They no showed that, it’s been a week since I reached out with no response. They may be great electricians, but they are bad communicators.

I had been a repeat Mister Sparky customer, but after my most recent experience, I strongly recommend getting multiple quotes before agreeing to any work. At our previous home, we paid more than $20,000 for outlet replacements and a new electrical panel after being told these upgrades were necessary because our EV charger was tripping the breaker. At our new home, we called Mister Sparky to install another EV charger. We were again told we needed a panel upgrade, grounding repairs, another breaker repair, new smoke detectors, and other work—including warnings that we could be electrocuted while showering if the grounding issue was not corrected. The total was approximately $14,000. Looking back, I regret not getting a second opinion because the sales approach felt heavily based on fear and urgency. The installation experience was also unacceptable. The electrician arrived in the early afternoon and continued working until after 10 p.m., saying everything had to be completed that day. Because it was so late and dark, we could not properly inspect the work. The next morning, we found a large hole where an outlet had been moved, very poor caulking, an off-center EV charger installation despite our instructions, and smoke detectors already pulling away from the ceiling. I have included photos. I called and spoke with Derek, who said the company would make it right. Someone was sent out but arrived with no understanding of why he was there and left without resolving anything. We were then given another appointment, and I stayed home from work—but no one showed up. After multiple calls and complaints, we were offered only $500 off despite spending more than $34,000 with the company in two years. When someone finally returned the following week, it was the same electrician I had specifically asked not to send back. I am sharing this so others can make a more informed decision. Based on my experience, do not use this business. I plan to report them to the BBB.

High-pressure sales tactics. Insanely inflated prices. No proof of damage; we were pushed into a $22,000 replacement for a working system. Unresponsive customer service. Insurance coordination promised, but never performed. What started as a high electrical bill revealed that I hired a company charging 3x market rate for electrical work that likely never needed to be performed. We called them for peace of mind after a lightning strike, even though our power was working fine. Their safety advisor claimed our panels were fried, called it an immediate fire hazard, and stated a $22,000 option was the only way to keep us safe. Reassured he would handle our insurance coordination, we authorized the work. In the weeks that followed, I realized what actually happened. My insurance company valued the work they did at just under $6,000, though mister sparky charged $15000+. Other electrician companies gave quotes in the $10,000 range, and informed us that Mister Sparky regularly marks up their prices significantly past market rate. They said they were replacing like for like parts, and they did NOT - leading to insurance not covering 15k of the work. Despite promising during the initial home visit to act as our liaison, the safety advisor never had a single conversation with our insurance company. He actually told us not to contact our insurance company, claiming we might just end up confusing them, leaving us with $15,000 not covered. I don't even know if the job needed to be done. They still have not provided the thermal images used to scare us. The system was 100% functional when they arrived, and the photos of the panels show no visible defects. They even pulled internet/data cables out of the box to make it look worse. I was ghosted by the entire company. Management and the service email have completely stopped responding to emails. When I called to request the salesperson's full name and title, the agent straight up hung up on me. I was also promised a $309 refund that was never delivered. After following up with management and realizing that I had a 3-year service plan attached to my bill unknowingly, the manager agreed that he would remove this charge. I have had zero further communication about this. (Because they ghosted me... even though I spent 20k+ with them.) I wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy, so I looked at some of the other reviews on this page, and it looks like there are a lot of experiences similar to mine. Lastly - their hardware includes a big annoying logo of theirs that now faces my backyard, a visual reminder of my stupidity for hiring this company. I did not approve this advertisement. My lessons learned are to get second and third opinions (even in a perceived emergency) and trust your gut if you feel pressured into expensive, unrequested upgrades. Stay clear of Mister Sparky! Update to response from owner: You're not talking to me, I already reached out to you.
