  Very aggressive sales tactics! Let me start by saying that Carlos was very professional, polite and friendly and I appreciated him coming out on a Saturday. So no complaints there. The problem came when we started talking about price. I explained that I needed some time to think about it and talk to my dad before I made any decisions. He said he could give me a 25% discount if I made a "same day" decision. I further explained that I wanted to go with the cash option but that I didn't have the money to even make a deposit... I needed to talk to my financial advisor and have the money transferred to my account before that could happen. (Remember, it's Saturday, so I can't even talk to her until Monday) He insisted I decide on one of the other payment options (no deposit required, just a credit check) so that I didn't need to wait for the money. Again, I told him I needed more time to think about it. He responded with asking if I can talk to my dad that evening and make a decision and he'll still give me the same day pricing. That went on for some time... in the mean time... my nephew, who I'm watching is needing me, my puppies have been in their crates for some time and are crying. I finally told him I felt like I was being pushed into a corner and he finally left. I'm a single woman with one income and this is a huge decision to make... both personally and financially. I don't appreciate these kind of sales tactics and don't want to work with a company who only offers a discount for a same day decision. If you believe in your product that much, you shouldn't have to stoop to this level.

  We met with Javier, he professionally explained our options and we decided on a plan which was best for us. They had a date open, just six days later…..two very nice young men, Collier and Mark arrived on time and completed the job to our total satisfaction….. all at a reasonable cost. We have a five year plan, one of their trained specialists will return annually to make certain there is no movement. We recommend Groundworks.

  Much appreciation to Bayley Olson on the inspection. Got here ahead of schedule, was prompt and professional, and was fully candid about what was truly needed versus what was maximally needed. Gave me a lot of trust and faith in the work and opinion.

  They repaired my driveway and during the repair they told ne about the error in construction by the builder. I asked them, as the experts they said they were, to put it in writing so that I could pursue reimbursement. They said they would, but then ghosted me. Then their repair work failed with new cracks and sliding. I notified them and they again ghosted me until I said I would write a review regarding their non-customer service. Then they texted me but at this point do I want an already stressful situation to continue. They are nothing what they present themselves to be. Buyer beware for sure. Now I have a driveway that is worse than it started. UPDATE: I received a call and then a visit from Groundworks to look at the work done and discuss what could be done. They offered a sincere apology for the customer service issues and we discussed remedies that they could offer. This was a pleasant surprise. We have reached a collaborative agreement and I will move forward with the plan discussed. I kept in mind that Groundworks didn't cause the issue, but more so the issue was exasperated after the work. It is hard to determine whether the work from Groundworks caused this or if it was a result of poor construction at the time the driveway was pored. I am satisfied with the solution and appreciate Groundworks' willingness to help. UPDATE: August 6, 2026 Groundworks has been true to their word. Construction of the new driveway starts Friday Aug 8. I believe that the company is sincere in wanting to reach a resolution that addressed my needs and I am happy with the new costs to repair the driveway. They gave me options to choose from and although they didn't cause the original issue, they took responsibility for their part of the repair that aggravated the existing issue. It has been a win/win for customer service and that's what I wanted to see. They stepped up to the plate and Friday is the day! Rarely do these types of issues end up this way. It showed me that they care and will do whatever within reason to make it right. Melinda
