  Brooke Bogs did an amazing job from the first time we met and through the entire building process of our new home. Kimberly from the design center was so helpful in the selection process. Yves and his team worked tirelessly on the actual build. The closing was easy and went smoothly. We are very pleased with our new home.

  While I understand that termite treatment is explicitly excluded from the standard DRB Homes warranty, the lack of support following an infestation less than two months after closing has been disappointing. Despite acknowledging the warranty terms, my requests for a professional referral or assistance in negotiating a treatment rate were met with repetitive scripts from the construction and area managers rather than actual solutions. For future buyers, I strongly recommend securing a written agreement prior to closing that requires the builder to cover termite treatment within the first 90 days. Alternatively, ensure you have the home independently treated immediately upon moving in to avoid significant out-of-pocket costs.

  We have lived in our new DRB home for less than 2 months and have termites. We saw them immediately upon move in and continue to see them in multiple areas. We have had 4 different pest control companies come out and confirm they are termites so I recommend if you choose DRB request your new homes wood to be treated for termites because they do not do this service for whatever reason and get in writing that they will treat the home for you if you experience termites within x-amount of days. The cost is not cheap. They will try and say the likelihood of termites is minimal but look at us and we’ve lived in the neighborhood for many years so it’s not the neighborhood it’s the fact that their homes are not treated to prevent this from happening! We even thought it was weird in the pre-drywall walkthrough that they pointed out the wood is not treated so pay attention to everything and get it treated by DRB!
