  Stephen and his partner did a great job at helping replace my previous opener with one that’s more reliable and quieter. They did a full inspection / installation during their visit and were both helpful and friendly. Although the total was more expensive than planned for, it’s nice to know it’s been taken care of properly by an experienced team.

  Steve Anderson is the technician who came at 10 am and worked until he completed the job around 3:40 am (That was fine with me!) was totally dedicated to his job, and, in my estimation, strived for, and achieved excellence! I watched as he tracked down the over-riding issue, like a detective. I also benefited from his knowledge. Phillip came later in the day and stayed until finished with his portion. Both arrived with a big smile, a handshake, and a delightful, if expensive, experience. I feel well taken care of and I have confidence in the company longevity and the product warranties. Thank you.

  I made contact with A1 using their automated system; they promptly got in touch and were very helpful in setting up an appointment to repair my garage door which would only partially go up. Taylor contacted me when he was en route, and showed up professionally on time. He performed a thorough diagnosis and determined that the spring was nearing the end of its life, and that the weight had just exceeded the opener’s capability, as his scale indicated that the old spring was only counterbalancing the door enough that it still had 65 lb to lift. (I was wrong, thinking that the opener was the problem.) While performing the work, he discovered some other minor parts issues which could become a problem; showing me the part in question and laying out my options (just straight up facts, not trying to upsell). I even brought up a problem with debris blowing in under one side of the door, and decided to have the seal fixed (a longtime wish). He did great work in the ‘sauna’ of my garage; keeping me informed of the progress. Taylor is very professional and it was a pleasure having him in my home. Will do business with them again.
