  We had another HVAC company come out first, but these guys were by far the most honest and knowledgeable. They quickly found the real issue, fixed our AC, and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. they completely earned our trust. Honest companies like this deserve all the business. Highly recommend!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough good things about Redd’s in Shelbyville! Josh came out and fixed my AC, and he did an absolutely wonderful job. He was so kind, professional, and genuinely cared about getting everything working properly. I also want to give a big thank-you to James, the owner, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful over the phone. It’s so nice to deal with people who truly care about their customers. I’m very thankful to Josh and James for getting my AC back up and running. I highly recommend Redd’s to anyone needing HVAC work! Thank you both so much! ❤️

  5 STARS — Absolutely Outstanding Service! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Redd’s Heating & Cooling! On one of the hottest days of the year and on a Saturday, Wayne came to my rescue within an hour! That kind of service is almost unheard of these days. Wayne was incredibly kind, professional, knowledgeable, and patient. He took the time to explain everything to me clearly and made sure I understood what was going on. I immediately felt like I was in good hands. He truly went above and beyond, and I am so grateful! I also want to give a huge shout-out to Kim in the office. She was absolutely wonderful, helpful, and so kind from the very beginning. Redd’s Heating & Cooling has definitely earned a customer for life. If you’re looking for a company that is responsive, honest, professional, and genuinely cares about its customers, call Redd’s!   This place is a joke. Take your business elsewhere. Redd's installed our unit on our house under 10 years ago and we started having issues in February of 2025. A technician came out and replaced some things, issue resolved (or should have been). We started having issues again June 28th, 2026 (going into the heat advisory). They were contacted and a technician did come out even though it was the weekend, but advised us that the technician who originally came out to work on our unit in February of 2025 DID NOT do his job correctly which is why we were having another issue now. Redd's advised we would still have to pay for their services even though this technician specified another tech's inability to do his job caused our issue. We shouldn't owe a dime for any of this if that is the case. How do we know the same thing won't happen again in a year? Why should we have to pay money over and over due to their negligence? Someone higher up at Redd's spoke to my husband and said he would "do some digging" and call him back. At no shock to us, no one has called back. We are in the middle of a heat advisory and are on day 3 without AC. I hope all the employees at Redd's are enjoying their nice cool office, while we can't even be in our own home due to the heat and humidity.
