Joe came to determine the reason for the leak resulting in water stain damage on ceiling. He is knowledgeable and has a great attitude! He charged the reasonable trip fee and my wife and I are reviewing his proposal. We would call again.

Aaron was amazing and saved me thousands of dollars in 20mins. A lot of companies like to take advantage of women and older adults. Like Pioneer for example. Came out and told me I needed a compressor and a new board. Says it will be 9,000 and that for that price I should just buy a new unit. After a 10 min long performance from Pioneer tech Aaren* he offers mid range unit for 16,500. I tell him that seems extraordinarily high for either or. AARON from Armor comes over takes one look at the capacitor, says it’s swollen, replaces it and it works. I was so impressed with Aaron I bought a service plan and absolutely had to brag on him with my review!! You are appreciated!

Called Armor on a Saturday when our AC went out on a hot day in August. Aaron came out and was terrific! He arrived earlier than our appointment, figured out the problem, explained the issue to me, fixed it and was done quickly. He was awesome. Great service. Glad I called Armor!

I wanted to follow up regarding the service call to my home this past weekend.
I contacted this company on Saturday because our upstairs air-conditioning unit had stopped working. I specifically chose this company because they were open on Saturday and were able to send someone out. I understood that my unit is older, and I was prepared for the possibility that it might need repairs or even eventually need to be replaced.
During the initial visit, the technician inspected the unit and told me that it needed a new capacitor. He said he would return the following day with the capacitor and install it.
When he returned, however, he did not install a new capacitor. Instead, he removed the existing capacitor and took it with him, leaving the unit without one. I was then told that the system was simply too old to be worth repairing, that parts would be too difficult to find, and that I should speak with his supervisor about financing a new unit.
Fortunately, another HVAC technician contacted me after seeing a post I had made on Facebook and offered to take a look at the system. He came out, replaced the capacitor along with one other part that was needed, put everything back together, and the air conditioner is now working properly.
Needless to say, this makes me very uncomfortable with the recommendation I received from this technician. I was being directed toward financing an entirely new HVAC system when the existing system was, in fact, repairable.
I was also disappointed with the condition in which my home was left. The technician accessed the unit in our attic and left the cover completely off rather than putting it back in place. While in the attic, he knocked over three storage totes, spilling their contents, and did not offer to help pick anything up even though he saw me cleaning up the mess. He also tracked mud onto every step going upstairs, which I had to clean after he left.
I understand that service technicians work in difficult areas and that accidents and messes can happen. What concerns me is the combination of these issues: leaving equipment disassembled, leaving a mess in my home, removing a part from my unit, and then telling me the system was not worth repairing while attempting to move me toward purchasing a new system.
My unit is now repaired and is working properly. I would also appreciate an explanation as to why I was told that repairing it was not a reasonable option when another technician was able to obtain the necessary parts and repair it successfully.
