- CMCarrie MorganSep 8, 20261.0Was told the service fee was $29 over the phone when making the appointment, but when they arrived, they added $100 for a labor day appointment - that should've been disclosed on the call when they quoted the price. I was out of town so the appointment easily could've waited until the next day. Wow, did they have a steep markup on a cheap capacitor part. They told my daughter there would be a $100 discount for the $185 part because my unit was under warranty (which covers 100% of parts?) The invoice didn't show any kind of discount at all, though. To be fair, they were not the original installer, so offering that discount was nice, it would've balanced out the unexpected holiday charge even though it wasn't the actual warranty coverage, but then they didn't even include it in the invoice. The repair was done just fine, my issues were with other parts of the experience. I paid it in full without disputing anything since I wasn't at the appointment, these were all details my adult daughter passed along, but I definitely won't use them again. My trust is gone. And can I just say the volume of reminders for one appointment was completely ridiculous - all of them sent to my phone AND TWO email addresses? At least ten. TEN.
