  Called for a clogged kitchen sink drain, tech did not scope the drain and just assumed that it was a grease clog and could only be fixed with a hyrdro jet. Quoted almost $900 for the hydro jet and he also tried to sell me a new water heater lol. They have salesmen that call you while you are on their website and pitch the “$93 or free” deal, which is a scam just to get you to allow them to come out. I had another company come out the same day and fixed the problem for less than $100. Even if this a short term fix, TN Standard didn’t even try this approach first.

  We are first-time homeowners of a relatively new build, and we had a leaky shower faucet. Patrick responded to our service call, and everything was great - professional, well explained, keen attention to detail at every step. Patrick walked me through the process of how he was going to not only fix the problem but see what the cause was, because prevention and maintenance are key. This is important because there was a maintenance issue with our water heater that we had not taken care of, which Patrick was able to take care of at the same time as the leaky faucet. We decided to call Tennessee Standard Plumbing because they were taking care of work at a home in our neighborhood, and came recommended. I would absolutely recommend Patrick and Tennessee Standard Plumbing to friends, co-workers, strangers, and family, including my nitpicky mom. Little things matter as much as the big things: Big, having a professional fix the faucet issue; Little, shoe covers Patrick wore inside our home during the service call. I appreciate that Tennessee Standard Plumbing seems to value not only the big things, but the little things, as well.   This is another 5 Star review for Tennessee Standard Plumbing for new work performed today. Mycah Horner and Cory Potts arrived around 10:30 this morning and left a little around 5:00 PM. These gentlemen worked ALL day with no breaks. Their level of skill and professionalism was outstanding and they periodically kept my father up to date on the progress. They also patiently answered our questions as well as kept the work spaces (new water heater and water filtration system) clean and tidy. We are just so impressed with Tennessee Standard! They deliver what they promise. We will definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs. Well done once again team!!! God bless!

  Had these guys out to give me a quote on a water heater. The prices were pretty ridiculously high. $2800 for a 40 gal gas, or $6300 for a tankless unit. While the employee was clean, polite, and seemed quite knowledable, being quoted well above the $1300 I was expecting to pay for a roughly 2 hour job just wasn't happening. I can see where their overhead goes though. The laser engraved stainless steel business card was a nice touch, it's just not for me.

  Brandon over at Tennessee Standard absolutely knocked it out of the park. Not only did he do an amazing job with the plumbing work itself, but he went above and beyond taking the time to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot). He explained everything in a way that actually made sense, which I really appreciated. It never felt rushed or transactional. He genuinely cared about making sure I understood what was going on and felt confident moving forward. On top of that, he was professional, easy to talk to, and just overall great to work with. If you’re looking for someone who does high-quality work and actually takes care of you as a customer, Brandon is your guy. Highly recommend!
