  Earl was great. He arrived on time to check our HVAC. He was thorough in explaining the issue and our options for repair. We’ve used Chaffee in the past for HVAC and plumbing repairs. We’re very happy with Chaffee’s customer service.

  Have had some issues with my home heat and air, and issues with my plumbing. Chaffee has a great service department with very skilled trades people. Very friendly and reliable. Would recommend to anyone

  Jonathan Slate was my HVAC technician today, and he was wonderful! He was professional and friendly, and he took extra time to answer my questions in detail. I especially appreciated that he didn’t try to upsell me on things that don’t need to be done.

  Had a great experience with Chaffee, my AC unit was on its last leg and when Chris came out he tried his best to find a cost effective repair solution. In the end I had to replace the unit but even that was not as painful as I expected, on top of taking the time to fully explain the issues with my unit they also helped me find the right size unit and even gave me a good deal (because I switched from Pioneer ;)). Will definitely be making Chaffee, and Chris, my go to for HVAC.

  Do yourself a favor and think twice before using Chaffee HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical—especially for plumbing. I’m building a barndominium and a pool house and needed a new plumber after issues with a previous contractor. I got three quotes for the exact same scope of work. Two licensed plumbers came in at $17,000 and $18,000. Chaffee came in at $54,000. I have all three quotes in writing. There is no reasonable justification for being nearly 3x higher than multiple competitors on the same job. When I asked for an explanation, I didn’t get a clear or consistent answer that made sense given the scope. At that point, it stopped feeling like a premium service and started feeling like an attempt to massively overcharge. If you’re considering them, get multiple bids and compare carefully. Based on my experience, their plumbing pricing was wildly out of line, and I would not recommend them. I also overheard the owner telling a lie about me to another contactor. He didn't realize I was sitting in the room and it was on speaker. The owner is Aaron
