  Approximately three years ago, Johnny’s Heating & Air replaced our indoor HVAC unit. Recently, the unit began leaking, resulting in water coming through the attic flooring, damaging the ceiling, and running down the wall. We contacted the company to have the issue inspected because the system continued to shut off. We discovered that the drip pan was not level and was leaning toward one corner, which prevented the water from properly reaching the cutoff switch. A technician came to our home and was there for approximately 15 minutes. He stated that he installed a cutoff switch on the main containment. Unfortunately, the switch has never functioned properly, and the underlying issue was not resolved. Additionally, the unit was not retaped as "Johnny" had previously stated it would be. Despite the issue remaining unresolved, we were charged $185 for the service call after "Johnny" stated we wouldn't be charged a service fee, just the price for the switch. My husband has contacted the company numerous times since then and, despite leaving messages, has yet to receive a return call or any meaningful follow-up. We are extremely disappointed with both the workmanship and the lack of customer service. When you pay a professional company to address a potentially serious water leak, you expect the problem to be properly diagnosed and resolved—not to be left with the same issue and no response. If you are looking for a company that prioritizes quality workmanship, accountability, and responsive customer service, I would strongly recommend considering other options.
