  I've employed Star for 30 years. I requested that they evaluate my 25 year old Carrier gas pack. The company owner visited and said "You might get a couple more years out of it. I wouldn't replace it." A company which tells you not to replace a unit is a company you should listen to. I eventually replaced it anyway for reliability, efficiency and safety because I would be renting out the apartment which used the unit. I also had Star replace a 25 year old obsolete Amana boiler unit because of age, inefficiency and parts availability. Star provided a competitive price for installation and also laying down a full crawspace vapor barrier.

  After more than 20 years with Star, I can confidently say they are one of the best service companies I've ever worked with. Most recently, the compressor on my downstairs unit failed after 39 years of service and another exceptionally hot summer. Yes, 39 years old! With refrigerant changes and my hydronic air handler system, finding the right solution was not straightforward. The Star team responded quickly, assessed the situation, and found a practical, cost-effective solution. Even better, they had my system back up and running within just two days. Their responsiveness, expertise, and commitment to customer service are outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

  I called them in the afternoon and they came right out and I was so grateful! It was a compressor and the upstairs was hotter than all blazes. Wouldn’t have been able to sleep up there without their help. They were prompt and quick. I am so appreciative.
