He didn’t come to just sale a unit, he made me feel like he had my best interest at heart. I have already given his info to 3 people, ask for Mark Ingrams, that’s the man you want for total honesty. I thank you Choate’s for sending me Mark and joining your team. I’m having a generac generator installed.

It is VERY frustrating when calling a LOCAL company and not being able to speak to someone LOCAL. Even after leaving multiple messages asking for a callback from the LOCAL office. We have spent a lot of money with this company but evidently, we’re not worth their time.
- NPNate PughSep 21, 20265.0I contacted Choates to repair my MBR compressor motor and fan. The technician Rayzell made assessments and effected repairs in record time. He pointed out areas of concern and convinced us to purchase a maintenance plan which turned out to be a worthwhile investment. Rayzell was truly exceptional in the way he answered our questions completely and got us up and running. He told us our comfort was his top priority and went about showing us. The service we received from Rayzell reflects highly on him and Choates. I highly recommend Choates for their exemplary customer experience and thank you Rayzell for your efforts.

I called on a Wednesday and had an Electrician appointment scheduled for a Friday between 1pm and 7pm. My AC was out during a freak heatwave and we were really needing an electrical fix for the AC. Friday passes and NO ONE showed up. So I call the next morning at 7am to explain that we should be the first appointment of the day. Unfortunately, I was scheduled for 1pm and 7pm again. Thankfully an electrician came out and it took 5 minutes to fix. It was terrible service overall and I never spoke to a manager even though I specifically requested to speak with someone. In addition, I am a “Fam Plan” member and it didn’t help at all. I do not recommend using them. Please treat your customers better Choates.
- JCJohn ConwaySep 9, 20265.0A/C evaporator coil leak drained all refidgerant just before the Labor Day weekend when temps were 100+ degrees for 5 straight days. Brandon Hall with Choates diagnosed the failure, but unfortunately the coil was not in stock. Might take several days to get it. Brandon must have pulled some strings to get it next day; however, due to the holiday weekend, it would be Tuesday before it could be installed. With the extended heatwave, Choates service techs were stretched thin come the day after Labor Day, so Brandon took on the 2 man job himself working in an attic with 145 degree heat. Brandon is clearly one of Choates more experienced techs and did an amazing job by himself. Once the job was completed, he went the extra mile to help with a malfunctioning attic ladder which was beyond his responsibility. The HVAC unit was only 3 years old, and the work was done under full warranty for both parts and labor, proving that Choates and Carrier stand behind their products and workmanship. Choates sent me their best in Brandon Hall and my Fam Plan Gold membership more than paid for itself.
