I've rented from these gentlemen only a couple times since I had my concrete business started two and a half years ago but I can tell you that every time that I have called them and reserved equipment it's always never been an issue and always been available I've never spoke to more professional kind compassionate people in this business then Sunbelt in my life. Sunbelt is the exact type of rental place that every small business rental should follow! I don't mean that just as Sunbelt as a whole I'm speaking a lot specifically towards the Kingsport Sunbelt rental as they're the ones that I have been dealing with the most

Rented a stump grinder on Tuesday thru Wednesday. Machine cut off multiple times while using wasting over an hour of time. Had to call for a blown fuse which disabled machine entirely. Returned machine on Wednesday. Told the guy out front and also the person checking it in that the guard came loose and got caught up in the tracks essentially ripping it off. No one seemed concerned or paid attention to that upon returning it. Got a call the following day from the manager that was wanting money for the guard. The guard had already been ripped off prior to me receiving the machine, and halfway repaired. Told me it was insured and basically I had to pay 10% of the repair. The only issue was that he had supposedly ordered the part to repair but had no idea about the actual cost of the part or repair total. The damage should have been addressed when the machine was returned, not later with a call trying to extort an undetermined amount of money for repair. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Will never do business with this company again.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.

If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
