  If you’re considering buying in Ashton Woods at Hammock Walk, take a drive through the community before making a decision. Residents pay for landscaping through the HOA, but many yards consistently have large sections of uncut grass, inconsistent weed eating and edging, and patios, porches, and driveways are often left with grass clippings. The quality and consistency simply aren’t what you’d expect. Also check out the grimy, polluted ponds. The common areas also have uneven walking surfaces that can be a safety concern, especially in a 55+ community. With HOA dues of $215 per month, many residents would expect better landscaping, improved maintenance, and amenities such as a pool. Take a look for yourself, ask residents and decide if it meets your expectations before purchasing.

  Our new house is about a month away from completion, and I can't think of any real issues. It's looking great! The project manager, Brandon, is very experienced—I can tell, having been in the construction business all my life. Jessica in the office has also been fantastic. Thank you all!

  HOA fees will be $250 per month for a dog park and a pickleball court? Ridiculous!
