  I’ve had 2 bad experiences with halton Oakes. First one the on site realtor made me drive to Greenville to hand deliver my earnest money check. I did and received a copy and receipt of payment. My current home was on the market and I was waiting for it to sell. I was constantly harassed by the attorneys halton oaks was using that they had not received my earnest money and could not hold my house. The end of that story. Second issue I had changed realtors selling my existing home . At 8:30 one morning I saw another house in halton oaks that was listed as active on Zillow. I immediately requested their earliest showing which was 11:00 a.m. Sharlan, a realtor, called me immediately and we discussed in length about my Request for that house only. My realtor that is selling my current home told me that Mary was the realtor for the builders at halton oaks but since Sharlan contacted me first I continued working with her. She told me the earliest she could show me the requested house was 2:30 or 3:00 pm that day but she would have to get back in touch with me to confirm. I waited and waited and waited. I finally texted her for a confirmed time. She replied she’s still waiting to get some information. I finally heard back to confirm a 2:30 pm appointment. I arrived at the office at 2:28 pm and both Sharlan and Mary met me at the door to tell me they had already sold the house before I got there. They both knew it was already in the pending stage before I even inquired about it at 8:30 that morning but wanted to get me over there to try to sell me two other houses that were 2 story and many tens of thousand dollars more expensive than what I was wanting. These 2 women should lose their realtors licenses.

  My home was built. Okay about the HOA association. He's terrible, took my payment for a year up front. When I closed down, the house still still don't have street lights? Swimming pool is still not open. No one has any answers. And the new homes they're building, they start at five o'clock in the morning, some weekends who wants to wake up to nail guns in hammering

  This has been a horrible experience. Quality is sub par and warranty is useless
