I have been purchasing items from the Spartanburg, SC location of Direct Tools for approximately 2 years. I have purchased both new and refurbished items ranging from yard/lawn equipment, batteries, flashlights, workshop lights, speakers, wet/dry vac, etc. I have found during the course of my ventures into this location that the customer service is exceptional and over the top compared to any levels of expectations I had. I have been serviced my many of the staff members and every time I visit this location they are extremely helpful and courteous. I have witnessed them assisting customers to their car with purchased items and experienced this level of customer service myself. This store operates utilizing the same care and concern for the customer you found in the late 1970's to early 1980's. Shopping here is like entering the old trusted hardware store that everyone in town knows and trusts. I will never purchase a RYOBI product from anyone one else (or any other location). Their level of service has earned 100% of my business. I would recommend to anyone that if you need something for the house, stop in - you will be glad you did.

Called these guys looking for a specialty tool that they didn't it have in stock but he took the time to ask around for me to see if his coworkers maybe knew who would have that locally. Great customer service.
