  We're new Preferred Home Services Customers, but we'll be regulars for a long time. We had an 18 year-old HVAC unit in a downtown condo we'd recently purchased. Of course it decides to fail on the Friday before a long holiday weekend. PHS had a tech out to assess within hours, and we had a new crew arrive 1st thing Monday AM to replace the entire unit (Inside blower + outside condenser). Every member of the PHS team was thoroughly professional and I'm very glad I reached out to them first. Highly recommend!

  Our AC went out at night during a stretch when the temperature close to 100. The next day we had a technician, Shawn, to our home before noon. He was outstanding. Problem was diagnosed, all options explained very clearly and he fixed our AC within about an hour. He was very personable and professional and I was very impressed with his service, as well as the service of the company in general. Highly recommend!!

  $1286 to replace Blower motor vs. $319 paid, $453 to replace relays vs $49/each, and difficult access $251 (took an 80+ year old man an extra 4 minutes to access this difficult access), grand total $2010 vs. $417 AND the replacement of blower motor and relays did NOT fix the issue. This is a duct issue. Had I gone with Preferred Home Services, I would have thrown away $2010 and still had an AC issue.

  Where do I start? I received exemplary service from Preferred upon contacting them to come to my home. Everything from the first call I made to the awesome sales man Thomas they called out to provide me with a quote. Thomas was full of knowledge, answered all my questions and I did not feel pressured in any way as some men do upon coming out to quote females. He left us with a couple of good laughs, great service with a smile! If we ever have to contact you all again-hopefully not soon but if we do we would absolutely recommend Preferred Services and ask for Thomas! Thank you guys for handling our problems with our hvac unit. You can really tell Preferred takes the time to build a grand team between their sales, leadership and install crews!

  My experience with Preferred has been one of the best experiences I have had with a company. My plumbing story: I came home from work and saw a wet spot on my rug. Slight panic. Then I pulled back the rug and realized that water was coming up between my floor tiles. Now its time to panic. After speaking with FOUR different companies, Preferred stood out in so many ways. It started when I meet Maddy and she took a tour of my house. She made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and was transparent with me during the entire process. She ended up giving SEVEN different options. She heard me when I said I was on a budget but was also thinking about my house long term. She identified that I had leaking pipes in my concrete slab. Panicking again! But she made me feel at ease. In addition to the replacement of the pipes, I needed to replace my garbage disposal and hot water tank. Maddy let me know about upcoming changes in regulations to water tanks and thankfully steered me towards one that would meet those requirements. She listened to me when I said I didn't want the cheapest garbage disposal and worked so hard to come up with affordable options for me. I knew before she walked out that Preferred was the company to go with. The very next day, Maddy and her team where ready to start working. Chris, Brian, and Porter showed up ready to work! Porter was a hero being outside in the heat digging until my pipes were found. Chris and Brian tore up my house in the best possible way to get the job almost complete in ONE DAY! And this was not because they were rushing. It's because they are all knowledgeable, hard workers, and professionals at their job. When the job was completed, the next day, Chris walked me through the whole house and Brian showed me what is quite possibly the coolest water heater I have ever seen. And Porter put my front yard back together when it was all done. For the price, the service is some of the best I have gotten. I love them so much, I signed up for their yearly maintenance plan which includes two AC check ups, and plumbing and electric checks yearly. I am glad that out of a bad situation I was able to find them. Thanks to Maddy, Chris, Brian, and Porter ** They also love teachers!
