    10:30 Saturday night, house full of guest, ac not cooling the house. First call to company that serviced hvac 3 weeks ago. Couldn’t get to me till Monday. Called Coastal Air Plus. They’d have someone call Sunday morning to fit me in emergency service. At 10:00 am Javi Vazquez pulled in my driveway. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable. Troubleshooting said we needed a new capacitor. But Javi didn’t stop there. Up into the attic for checks of air handler, wiring, etc. Back outside to clean the coils, cool down compressor and pressure test coolant. Would have been easy to just bill me for capacitor and after hours call out, but Javi was more interested in doing a thorough system check. Looks like we’ll be switching hvac contract to Coastal Air Plus. Lee Whitaker

    Our AC wasn’t blowing cold air causing temps in the house to reach close to 90. Within 2 hours of my original call, technician, Javier arrived at our house and fixed the issue. He was professional and the price was reasonable. Thank you! Will certainly use again for any future HVAC needs or issues.

    Tim and Tyler were amazing. They were so professional yet friendly. They faced many obstacles putting in my mini split but they worked through all of them without complaint. They moved items so they were hidden but work effectively. They were so clean and assisted me with getting items moved. I am so glad I decided to bring my business to Coastal Air Plus.

    It was Memorial Day when I called Coastal Air regarding my AC not working. They asked if I needed someone that day, I politely said no, it’s the holiday & I don’t want to make anyone come on a holiday so the next day works. They sent someone next day & after discovering what the issue was & what the fix would be & part needed, he said he would be back tomorrow. This was the week of our heatwave & I have a pug that NEEDS to be kept cool. Smushed face breeds don’t do well in heat. I get a call next day from their office stating they would like to set up an appointment for Friday. I said no, I was told today they would be back. He said sorry we have other emergencies. I said Friday doesn’t fly, mine is an “emergency” too, please speak with your manager & get back to me. I never got that call. I reached out to my service guy & he apologized. I loved my service guy. He tried everything on my behalf. He knew I was angry. Needless to say he had to come back Friday for the fix, his manager showed up with the part. I spoke to the manager in length of all that went on as there is more. Supposedly someone at the office reached out to me again. Funny, my phone never rang nor was a voicemail left. He stated he was going to take back all my concerns & have basically a “pow wow” meeting with team that day & how they can do better. That’s great& all, the customer service man at the office sucked. No character to him, no compassion, zero personality. So my dog suffered the whole week in the heat, meanwhile never did they offer a discount or a free or reduced AC check up next time, nothing. Here’s your $1400 & some change bill.

    Coastal air replaced my AC and duct work. The job was completed in about 2.5 days which was faster than I expected. There were some minor bumps but Chase Shumate who was my rep was always a phone call away and immediately addressed any concerns I may have had which were very minor. The only real issue I had was the install team really didn't keep me in the loop as to what they were doing, and that may be because they figured I wouldn't understand what they were talking about, which isn't completely wrong. However, as a contractor you should always keep your customer updated as to what you are doing. It is just good customer service. All in all a very good company I would use them again and I would refer them to anyone.
