  Ordered a custom exterior door for a project at my house. The manufacturer they use had every option imaginable and we were able to pick the styling exactly to fit the style of our older house! The whole process was seamless and the staff was amazing. Dropped off the door we ordered the week it arrived to their warehouse.

  My neighbor and I had windows replaced at the same time. I choose Window World she choose our neighbor’s company. I chose Window World because it was considerably cheaper and their pay back to the community could not be matched. I’ve had my windows for 18 years. I clean my windows every season change and open and close them a lot. I have certainly given them wear and tear. I’ve had a few clips break and one had some moisture issues. WW came in a timely manner to fix any problems I’ve had. They always show up when they say they are coming and give us a heads up when they are 30 minutes out. The technician is friendly and courteous. My poor neighbor across the street has not had the same service. She just had to pay $600 for a new piece of glass because hers broke and the company she bought from is no longer available. So when you are choosing to purchase new windows, choose wisely, make sure the company is established throughout the United States and has a good reputation. Beth T

  Summary: Shoddy install, then denied it was shoddy, then admitted the windows aren't correct, then the owner called with a pompous attitude insinuating I wanted him to do shoddy work so I could feel offended. FYI, I have an audio recording of this if window world desires to contest this review as honest. Pictures of the issue are available too. I will post both if they contest the validity of my review. Would have given 3 stars but their tech intentionally lied to me then double and triple downed on the lie until I told him "put there's nothing wrong with the windows in writing then we'll go from there." Within 30 seconds he said he made a mistake and it's a manufacturer defect. Manufacturer says no defect, their windows aren't supposed to have a half inch slop in the sash. Window World said it will be corrected mid to end of November. Will update with thermal camera imaging after it is fixed. I really hope it is because it is costing an additional 15 kWh of energy a day. That's about $2.50 a day. Also customer service is rude and unapologetic about a representative of their company lying. Seems it's common practice for them given how much they don't care about the initial attempt to deceive. The pictures are their marks made after they said it is supposed to have slop in the sash. Then they claimed they made a "mistake". Never said it was an honest mistake, the tech actual smirked when caught lying. Their windows are doing 67% worse energy wise than single pane windows held together with painter's tape from 1985. Even knowing all this they tried to say nothing is wrong. Also I'm currently in the construction industry and have 13 total years of experience. I'm also ICC certified. After posting this the owner, Brad, called me to argue. They admitted the sashes are undersized, they said they would fix them, then the owner calls and says "I think you want to be offended." Offense 1. I didn't ask your company to do shoddy work. Any installer knows sashes aren't supposed to be like that. They left it that way without telling me but your company demanded payment if full after installation. Offense 2. Practicing deceit and claiming nothing is wrong with the windows (audio tape to prove this). Offense 3. Never offering a resolution to the monetary loss I have and still am experiencing. Offense 4. Calling me with more excuses and asking why I am upset with the service. Thats insulting in itself and the only valid excuse is negligence or incompetence. I have asked for 2 things. 1. The windows to be fixed. I was told they will repair the undersized sashes. Tentative date of repair is late November or early December. 2. An apology. No one representing window world has offered an apology for my inconvenience much less for lying. They were offended I asked for an apology. It's gotten to the point where I requested they communicate with me via email only.   I wish there was a way to leave more than 5 stars. My windows are 20 yrs old and one needed replacing due to water damage. No hassle from Window World, they ordered and replaced the window (no charge) and replaced the area that caused the fail. Courteous, clean and quick. I absolutely would not go anywhere else.

  Replaced old metal windows with vinyl. Replace old rotten front door. Everything looks great.
