  I spoke to such a kind and helpful man, I had left a message Saturday about 8 45 not expecting to hear back until Sunday or Monday. He called me back within about 15 minutes and talked me through trying a couple of things by looking at pictures I sent him on my phone. I initially thought it didn't fix the issue and he said he would be able to schedule Monday but I asked if he would mind if I tried a more local person in the morning. Not only did he provide that helpful phone call for free and not mind me potentially calling another closer business he then called me back after a few minutes and said he was looking at the picture and talked me through some more things and the well was working! He also set me up with really clear info on what to do going forward. I have no words for how amazed I am by this wonderful service! To do this all on a Saturday at 9 30 and not even charge me for his time, such a blessing!!

  I cannot say enough good things about Sutton Well and Pumps. During a snowstorm this weekend, we suddenly lost all water pressure and were completely without water. I made several calls on a Saturday, and Mr. Sutton was the ONLY person who returned my call — and I’m so grateful he did. Even though he lives in Hartsville and we’re in Pamplico, Mr. Sutton stayed on the phone with us and patiently walked us through a temporary fix to get our water back on until the electrical box can be replaced this coming week. He knew exactly what was causing the shutdown and explained everything clearly, calmly, and kindly. Thanks to his guidance, we got our water running again. When it shut down once more the next morning, we knew exactly what to do because of him. His patience, knowledge, and genuine concern for our situation made all the difference. What stood out most was how much he truly cared. In a stressful situation, especially during bad weather, that kind of kindness and dedication means everything. It stuck with me all day because it’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond simply because they want to help. If you need well or pump service, do not hesitate to call Sutton Well and Pumps.   Although we are not related, I called them on an emergency well failure because they had the same last name. I'm so glad I did! I had called four other places and after three days (and a $90 visit from another company) we had made no progress on getting water. The Sutton truck was here in an hour even though they are located in another town thirty miles away. In three hours (including a 45 minute run for parts) they had everything repaired and running like new. I was impressed with their knowledge, teamwork, and professionalism. They are also friendly, fun people--a big plus in my book!

  Sutton installed a new motor and pump in my well 6/2012. The system stopped working 5/2014 and I called them for service. The owner determined that the motor (cost of approximately $500) was not working and had to be pulled out. With a Straight Face he said that he charges $475! to do that. I sent him and his helper away and pulled the pump out by my self from a depth of 80 - 90 feet in about 25 minutes. That would have a been a charge equivalent to $950 per hour had I let Sutton pull the pump out! A quick examination of the motor revealed a broken wire - the crimping and soldering was done sloppily - the joint corroded and broke. Took about 30 minutes to replace all 3 crimped and soldered joints and the motor is working again. Cost to fix: under $20 and 2 hours worth of work. Stay Away from these Highway Robbers!!!
