  I would strongly caution anyone considering Home Genius for any work. My terminally ill father signed a contract with this company during an extremely vulnerable time. Despite no work ever being started or completed, the company kept over $7,000 of his money. Both of my parents felt pressured throughout the process and believe the sales tactics used were predatory and unethical, especially given his medical condition. What has been most upsetting is the lack of compassion and accountability shown afterward. A reputable company should never profit from a family dealing with serious illness without providing any actual work or fair resolution. We are deeply disappointed with the way this situation was handled and would encourage others to carefully review contracts, avoid high-pressure sales tactics, and get multiple opinions before signing anything. I hope sharing this experience helps protect another family from going through the same thing.

  We’re very pleased with our new siding! Rob and crew did an excellent job getting our new siding installed! They were very professional and attentive to details. And when a minor problem came up after the installation, they were very quick to come out and make it work out. I’d highly recommend Home Genius!

  We had been planning a siding replacement for years, and finally had the time and finances to get it done. The installation itself was great with a professional and courteous crew. We did have some issues with our original PM, but after expressing our concerns to Home Genius, everything was addressed to our conplete satisfaction. Adam was phenomenal and fully addressed our concerns. I could not have asked for a better experience with their customer care and Adam's personal follow-up.

  My wife and I contacted Home Genius Greenville for a repair estimate on our gutters. When the salesperson arrived, I showed him what I wanted done. He came back in and suggested we replace the gutters with 5". He was very pleasant but when he stated the cost, three different times, I balked at the proposal. I was hoping it was a misquote. My wife and I are 79 years old soon in a couple months to be 80. We are loving and caring and honest people. We said years ago hopefully we are aware of our surroundings and didn't fall into a scam like older people do. We told him we would like to get a couple estimates so to decide of who would do the work. I figured I would have to pay someone, $4-500 dollars to do the repair work. Reluctantly we hoped to get a lower price quote. We settled on $5500, which we thought was too much but believed this young man wouldn't scam us. BUT when the workers came to install them, we didn't know that they were here until our dogs let us know that they were here and already tearing off all the original gutters. No knock no nothing and didn't ever let us know that they were done. The next another young man came with the loan company that they use. I was going to get our bank to cover it. BUT This company in California charge an exuberant percentage rate. After he left my wife and I decided to use our emergency funds to pay off this loan. We went to the bank and purchased a bank draft for the total amount. This money we have been saving for cremation expenses for US. It took it all, all of it. We now feel that this company has scammed us severely. We are good people treated like it doesn't matter to them. The salesman stated that they have overheads, like salesmen, finance men and managers. I should have stuck to my first impression and went local. I found out after the fact, that local installers would have saved us around $3000. What a shame for companies like you that feed off of older people. I am also ashamed of my ignorance of scammers like you. It took our savings to do this, and it will take a long time to get this money back. I will not recommend your company to anyone. I am sure this will not show up in your reviews. I intend to contact the BBB and vent my disapproval of your tactics. We are taken, simple taken in with this job. OH, by the way we are still picking up parts and pieces of the old gutters also. We trusted you and you FAILED. So sad!!!

  SalesPerson came out by request for estimate on a 16" x 12" siding repair, nothing more. After a full 35 minutes of him walking the home and doing computer graphing to get size of home, he then says his supervisor would be on his way. After 35 minutes sitting at the table giving a great sales pitch my husband says he will need to look at our finances and make a decision in few days. This was not acceptable to the supervisor nor the salesman. They hustled him for another 15 min with gaslighting, don't we trust him, and saying maybe they got off on the wrong foot, and that we waited this long why were we hesitating on spending $6k for the siding fix as well as insulation which is NOT why we asked for original estimate. The webpage says free estimate given, not a shakedown for an immediate agreement of only knowing the person for under 2 hrs. While they were nice and complimentive on home etc. we did not however appreciate their sales shakedown. Think twice and hopefully others have the willpower NOT to be signed into a contract beyond their means just because a salesman knows how to use a persons kind nature.
