They completely destroyed the streets in our Pleasant Falls neighborhood during construction and are refusing to fix the damage. Their negligence has caused thousands of dollars in property damage to residents. This company operates like a total scam and does not care about the communities they disrupt. Avoid doing business with them.

Our experience with DRB Home Group has been extremely disappointing. On the surface, their floor plans and overall design look great—but that’s where the positives end. The actual quality of construction is terrible, and it’s becoming more apparent by the day. We’ve had constant issues with basic fixtures throughout the home. The kitchen drawer and cabinet handles are made of such cheap materials that they’re already chipping. Door handles constantly need tightening, and simple things like toilet paper holders and towel racks won’t even stay secured to the wall. It feels like corners were cut everywhere possible. The most frustrating issue has been with our HVAC system. Our zone damper failed just 13 months after we moved in. When the technician came out, he explained that the system installed was only designed to handle a single zone—despite this being a two-story home. He even mentioned that he hopes practices like this become illegal soon. Typically, systems like this might last 15–20 years under normal conditions, but ours barely made it a year. Now we’re facing a potential $15,000–$25,000 cost to install a properly sized system. This experience has completely changed our perspective on new construction. It looks nice at first glance, but the lack of craftsmanship and durability is hard to ignore. If you’re considering buying, I would strongly recommend looking at an older home where quality and attention to detail were a priority—and making improvements from there. That’s the direction we’ll be taking, because this is not a home we feel confident raising our kids in long-term.

Peyton McCord from the DRB Homes sales team was great to work with. She was very helpful throughout the entire process and even after the sale, always responding and trying to help whenever I had questions. Her customer service has honestly been the best part of this experience. However, the builder and some of the contractors they use need to do a better job with attention to detail. I’ve only been in the home for about two months and I’m already seeing several issues like nails popping through the drywall and sections of the floor starting to bulge upward. These are things you don’t expect to deal with in a brand-new home. Peyton has been great, but the construction quality needs improvement.

Communication is horrible, and good luck getting things fixed after closing. Upgrades are so overpriced my house didn't appraise for the purchase price. I love the house, although I find items that show poor craftsmanship weekly. I have had a hole in my laundry room wall for weeks now because they forgot to include my dryer vent when building the house. I have trim missing on my level 5 upgraded cabinets because they said the microwave was too big to insert unless they removed 3 feet of my trim, that I paid for. I really wanted to leave a good review even though I had my issues , but I can't after I've been left waiting for contractors to show to fix these items on more than one occasion, only to just have them not show up at all.

Don't buy or waste your time with Dan Ryan homes. My neighbors and myself have had roof leaks, bathroom water leaks, mold at back door due to framing issues that is still not corrected. I took countless hours off work and sometimes no one would show. The warrenty department was horrible to work with. Very poor quality and very unprofessional. I have been in home for year in a half and still have issues.
