We recently did a complete renovation of our kitchen and after extensive research of cabinet shops in the area, we decided to go with Blue Ridge Cabinet and Design. Andrew came out and did the initial consultation and helped to refine the rough plan we had for our kitchen. Tina and Ana provided us with a wonderful design and Tom did an incredible job with the install. We could not be more pleased with the results. We were able to stay within our budget and the install completed exactly as scheduled.
If you’re looking for design and installation of quality cabinets with attention to detail and fantastic customer service, go by and see Andrew and his experienced team at Blue Ridge Cabinet and Design.

Blue Ridge Cabinet and Design (BRCD) provided us amazing service on our kitchen and bath renovation! They designed and installed our cabinets, quartz counters, large kitchen island and master bathroom vanity, sink and countertop. They did this all on time and on a budget that was previously set.
I seldom leave reviews, good or bad, but my experience with BRCD has been uniquely positive. I'm an engineer and have been in the construction business for 20 years. I've moved alot in that time so I've done a lot of renovations. I usually do my own work because I wierdly enjoy it, maybe I'm a control freak, and because I can't stomach contractor costs, especially when the quality isnt there. A word that my wife and I use on this topic is "value." Yes, we look to save money wherever possible, but really, we just want good value for our money. That's where BRCD most impressed me.
From the start, before we entered into a contract, they came to our house and provided a 3D color rendering of what our kitchen could look like. We gave minimal input at that point, giving them creative license. Their drawings included a quote. Costs for cabinets/counters are always higher than one wants them to be, so I stupidly went with a lower offer at first. When I discovered that offeror couldn't do some of the custom work I wanted, and the "designers" couldn't provide drawings to guide us, I went running back to BRCD. They accepted me like a prodigal son, not raising their original quote, and actually spending a lot of time getting a solution within my desired price point.
BRCD has invested in an excellent software that allows their project managers to make changes on the fly, quickly adjusting drawings, material and labor costs. I can't tell you how helpful this was, and how unique of a capability it is for a smaller, local, family-run firm. I did my reno mostly from afar, and was extremely pleased with the construction result I came home to. Of course there was a punchlist, which they knocked out in a timely manner. The BRCD owner is hands on, personally vested in quality issues, large and small. I never felt uncomfortable bringing cost, time, or quality concerns to their attention.
It's rare to feel this way at the end of a big home project, but I will absolutely go to BRCD again, and I highly recommend them to you, dear Google review reader!!!

The owner of this company, Andrew, is one of the best contractors in the business. His integrity and love for his work is evident. I have been able to use him and recommend on many occasions and have only had outstanding feedback. The one negative review on here is from a contractor I cannot in anyway recommend for any type of work in residential construction. Andrew works hard for his customer's and will do a great job for you!

After interviewing 10 Kitchen & Cabinet companies for a complete kitchen renovation, we selected Blue Ridge Cabinet and Design. This decision was based not only on their friendly, like-able nature, but also on Andrew's vision of what our kitchen could look like. Through multiple design iterations, He worked with us to create a kitchen layout that was much better than my original plan. The 3D renderings were very beneficial for us to confirm our design decisions. We are very pleased with the cabinet design that Andrew advised would fit in best in our unique house. The cabinets, hinges and drawer slides have shown to be great quality based on a couple years of usage (even with 2 young children). Cabinet delivery was on time. Andrew responded very quickly to the couple of small issues identified during installation. I will continue to use Andrew for future projects!
