  Gale Contractors installed our garage door through our builder, Brighton Construction. It was installed crooked, and we were told it couldn't be fixed. Then our builder, Brighton Construction, filed for bankruptcy and left us in the dark about everything. Unlike every other contractor who reached out before putting mechanics' liens on work done, Gale just went ahead and put the lien, which is causing us not only to pay for something we didn't know needed to be paid but also adding court costs for a crooked garage door that we are also going to have to pay to get fixed. Don't recommend.

  Buyer Beware! My experience with Builder Service Group, Inc., doing business as GAIL Contractor Services, has been nothing but frustration and disappointment. This company installed my insulation and also installed my garage door openers. The workmanship and quality have been unacceptable. The garage door openers have never operated properly, and despite multiple service visits, they still have not been fixed correctly. The customer service is just as disappointing as the workmanship. Appointments were repeatedly scheduled, only for technicians to either arrive late or not show up at all. Communication was poor, and I was constantly left waiting with no explanation. Their employees displayed unprofessional attitudes, and when concerns were escalated, I felt management failed to take responsibility or provide meaningful solutions. The repeated delays, poor-quality work, lack of follow-through, and inadequate customer service made this an incredibly frustrating experience. As a customer, I expected competent workmanship and reliable service, but I received neither. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Builder Service Group, Inc. If you value quality, professionalism, dependable service, and a company that stands behind its work, I suggest looking elsewhere.

  Wanted $250 just to come out and look at the garage door opener that they installed at new construction. Called Grand Strand and they fixed Gale Contractor crappy workmanship for $100.

  After I posted my original review, I was contacted by the District Manager and the proper steps to address my concerns were taken. I appreciate management's willingness to listen to the consumer and to take feedback seriously. Based upon their assurance that the catalyst for the initial review was an anomaly and not systemic, I would recommend this company for anyone who may need their services. They seem attentive to the needs of the customer, once the expectations are communicated.
