  First off I highly recommend hiring your own agent when dealing with this company find someone that is going to stand up for you fight to get you the best price and make sure they deliver what they promise. I purchased a home from Shaquanda and was told that it would have black shutters. It wasn’t till closing that I was told the Home would not have black shutters. My home was also supposed to close on the 31st and this was something Starlight was dead set on a closing date of the 31st, but the home was not ready. Closing date was moved to the eighth of this month and the home was still not ready. Issues are still being addressed after closing. Shaquanda takes no responsibility. If you decide to buy from this builder, just know that finding an agent that has your best interest is your best bet and cost you nothing Starlight Homes has to pay for your Agent not you so please take my experience And hire a good agent if you decide to buy a home from this company.The site manager David is great but he is giving Unrealistic completion dates because Starlight wants to close quicker than he can have the homes ready and he does not have enough labor to deliver on their deadlines. Had he been giving enough time to finish the home he would not be having to still finish work after closing. The MLS listing pictures all show brick but shaquandra told me that’s only the homes in Texas get brick and the black shutters that are in the picture that she told me the house would have She told me at closing. I wouldn’t get any shutters so again do your homework. Get a good Agent and get everything in writing. The pictures of the wet walls are my two car garage are after the walls got pressure washed so unfinished drywall was exposed to water. The concrete as you can see the ground was not properly packed and after just over three months is all cracking I’ve never seen anything like this. This is a first for me and I have purchased a lot of homes and also sold a lot of homes. Sorry for the negative review but buyers really need to be aware of this. I’d hate for anyone to have to go through what I did. My agent did not even receive the full commission she was expecting. Best of luck, I wish I had a more positive experience to write about but I believe honesty is the best policy.

  Jack the salesman for Starlight is a credit to his industry. He bent over backwards to make my home buying a position and memorable experience. His straight forward and transparent approach was very appreciated. He answered every question with ease. Furthermore, He is a nice guy! I am impressed with the house itself. The overall appearance and construction is satisfying. I highly recommend d Starlight homes.
