Excellent service from start to finish! The team was professional, thorough, and did an excellent job. They also cleaned up everything afterward, which is so uncommon these days. Michael was exceptionally helpful. Highly recommend!

I am very pleased with the service and the installation of our split unit!! They (Ritchie and Tristen) arrived as scheduled, did a professional job, and left the site as they found it. The equipment works to my satisfaction and they took time to show me how to operate the controls. They are excellent ambassadors for Stoudenmire, I am definitely pleased.

My first experience and so pleased I signed a maintenance contract. Easy communication, punctual, professional, effective. William, the technician, was very pleasant and discussed and reviewed all the equipment and issues. I was very pleased and feel secure with future needs.

I want to start by saying everyone I have dealt with at Stoudenmire has been friendly, professional, and respectful. Unfortunately, I have a significant concern with the system I was sold and I am currently waiting for management to address it.
I researched six HVAC companies before deciding on Stoudenmire for a new upstairs system that ultimately cost a little over $14,000. During the sales process, energy efficiency and the Dominion Energy rebate were specifically discussed. When I reviewed the proposal and noticed the equipment appeared to be rated around 14 SEER, I specifically questioned the salesperson about it. I was assured that when paired with the air handler, the complete system would have a higher efficiency rating and would qualify.
After installation, I submitted the rebate paperwork and Dominion denied it. Their written denial states that the AHRI-rated system Stoudenmire installed is 14.3 SEER2, while Dominion requires a minimum of 15.2 SEER2.
What concerns me most is that Stoudenmire’s own invoice lists the system as 14.3 SEER2 while also showing a Dominion Energy HVAC rebate, and the rebate application completed by their technician lists the same AHRI number under the 15.2 SEER2 qualifying category.
When I contacted the office, I was initially told they could simply issue us a $300 check. For me, this isn’t really about $300 or even the rebate itself. I made a $14,000 purchasing decision believing I was buying a higher-efficiency system that qualified for the energy-efficiency program. A check for the rebate doesn’t change the efficiency of the equipment that will be in my home for years.
The office has since told me this is being reviewed by management, so I am giving them the opportunity to make this right and will update this review based on how the situation is ultimately handled.
Again, everyone has been courteous throughout the process. My concern is specifically with how the equipment and its efficiency were represented during the sale versus what was ultimately installed.
I had a great experience with Mr. Will who serviced my AC. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure everything was working properly before he left. He explained what he was doing and made sure the AC was running efficiently. I really appreciate the quick and quality service. Excellent work and definitely a great employee to have on the team!
