  I contacted this company for plumbing work at my property and was honestly shocked by the estimate we received — nearly $9,000 for work involving the kitchen sink, dishwasher and laundry room. To clarify, we were not asking for a major plumbing installation or a complete renovation. A previous independent plumber had already started the work but was unfortunately unable to finish due to personal circumstances. The remaining work was essentially to reconnect the existing pipes so that water could be supplied to the dishwasher and sink, along with the necessary connections in the laundry room. The nearly $9,000 estimate was, in our opinion, completely excessive and difficult to justify for the scope of work involved. Shortly afterward, we contacted another plumber and received an estimate of approximately $5,000 less than this quote. The work can be completed properly and professionally at a much more reasonable price. Of course, qualified and licensed professionals deserve to be paid fairly, and we absolutely understand that plumbing work requires expertise. However, having a license or professional qualifications does not, in our opinion, justify pricing that is so far beyond what other qualified plumbers are charging for essentially the same work. This experience also made us understand why some homeowners increasingly choose to tackle certain projects themselves when possible —not because professional work isn't valuable, but because some quotes have become so extraordinarily high that they are simply difficult to justify. I do want to mention that the technician who came to the property was very friendly, and the customer service team was also pleasant and quick to respond to our requests. Unfortunately, good customer service does not make an unreasonable estimate any less unreasonable. We strongly recommend getting multiple quotes before accepting plumbing work from this company. In our experience, the price difference was substantial enough to make comparison shopping absolutely essential.

  Rudd installed a heat pump water heater (hybrid electric) in my garage. Long story short: the entire process was excellent and you should choose them too. The initial assessment was done in person and was extensive. The plan was explained in detail to me, and took into account requests of mine that required creative solutions. The cost estimate was accurate and was the same as my final price. The price was also fair. The heater worked without any hiccups, and the attention to detail is borderline neurotic in a good way. My house was cleaned up well afterwards and the old heater hauled away by their team. If I had a second heater to install, I'd call them again. Thanks to my particular plumber, Eric, who made the entire process fantastic.

  I recently switched to a Rudd service contract. I am so pleased and impressed with each service provided as in AC/Electrical/ heating /water . Most recent Nick D came for water inspections . After he answered my question re water heater I was so impressed with his knowledge and advice that i opted to get toilets fixed for frequent flushing, a new shower head in MBR and a new faucet in Kitchen. While completing work he was providing educational experiences for a new employee . I highly recommend Rudd Service , Anne T
