These guys did an outstanding job. Elijah was unreal. So professional, certainly a master at his trade, and so nice. I have 4 cats and always concerned when workers are here if they get out. Elijah was really careful each time he opened/closed the door. And best of all, the shower is AWESOME! Thanks Elijah, Spencer, Oswaldo, Lyndsey, and LowCountry Bath Renewal!

Companies can easily get positive reviews when things go well, but the true measure of quality and results is how they manage problems. This company fails.
My recommendation, should you choose Lowcountry Bath Renewals is to first hire a qualified plumbing contractor to go with you to the showroom, this will ensure that what the owner/salesperson shows you will translate to the agreement. From this point forward, we never had communication with the salesperson (owner) again, all was delegated to others, so resolve was difficult. In our case, not having the knowledge of parts and product model numbers and serial numbers, the verbal sales pitch did not translate to the agreement as promised, thus the recommendation for a third-party expert. Day one installation was confusing not only for us but for the workers that arrived. On more than one call, the comment was made that they thought they were at a different job. We tried to get clarity on what was promised, but the person assigned to help us, a co-owner, was insistent, multiple times that we have a “contract”, and did not provide access to the person that “sold” us the package.
Installation was messy and was not two-days, but three full 8+ hour days, and we still do not have a fully functioning shower. The panels placed on the left and right of the shower were not straight, but wavy. Prior to installing the panels, I pointed out to the install crew that the walls were not straight but was assured that it would not be an issue… it was, could have been fixed early and ultimately became a much bigger challenge. The panels were installed, and they were extremely wavy, leaving 5/8+” gaps in areas, to wide for a frameless shower and exceeds the recommendations for proper use of silicone or caulk. They came and before truly looking at the issue, immediately stated that “walls in homes are not always straight”. We informed him that we put levels to the bathroom walls, and they were absolutely straight, that the panels they installed were crooked and not flat.
They removed the glass doors and committed to come back a third day to find a resolution. A single installer returned early, but without a second helper would be unable to hang the doors. After almost three hours no resolution and no additional help, the on-site installer was called to leave and go to another job. No call to us with solutions or plans, just for him to leave. Yes, we raised hell and said that they were to finish our job. The installer left to get help and returned a short while later. The two, despite their bosses being irritated with them for having to cancel another job stayed and tried to resolve. They had a plan to present, but their managers would not call them back, so after an extended period decided on their own to try to resolve the problems. This included pulling the right panel away from the wall and placing shims and an extensive amount of “mud” in the walls to try to level the panels. This took the better part of the day and provided a slight improvement. However, this would include a much wider caulk job to connect the panel to the wall, plus a thicker use of silicone between the panel and the glass door. Not the most attractive solution, but functional, so I guess they were pleased. We were informed that Lowcountry does not have an inspection process.I waited and took a shower two days later. An unacceptable amount of water came from the bottom of the glass door. We contacted them again and the Director of Installation. He arrived with the installers and inspected the shower. When we questioned the installation, he was adamant that they follow the instructions in detail. He then made a comment about a plastic piece that should have been installed along the wall. I explained to him, and showed him, in the instructions where the silicone is to be placed. He then said that instructions were not always accurate. he consistently contradicts himself for the purpose of providing excuses. It became heated, more on my part, and I instructed them to leave.
