- CMC MApr 19, 20262.0Homes rushed and built cheaply. Many corners cut during the build. Carpet is very cheap, painting is extremely sloppy, on our final inspection we noticed worker put a large dent in master bedroom ceiling when swapping out our dented shower door and we were told it would be fixed before we returned from closing… that never happened of course. Now 1 month later it is still not fixed. Upon moving in the brand new refrigerator was making a loud humming noise. Scratches on flooring from where stove was installed. Master bathroom tile has rust spots all over it. Downstairs bathroom door handle has no lock on it? Front yards are embarrassing…. Yard was not graded properly and our front, side and back yard is a swamp. The neighborhood itself looks like a dump… trash in the roads, drains full of trash and debris, workers taking zero responsibility for messes they are making. Employees don’t seem to care and are rushing the work to be done as quickly as possible. Overall, this experience was expensive and extremely disappointing! We had so much faith in Stanley Martin…. But we quickly saw the true colors here.

No street sweepers and outdoor bathrooms are not serviced. Everyday is a free for all with no respect given to cleaning up their job sites. Front entrance has dying landscape. Place is embarrassing. Leadership of SM — have more pride in your properties!!!
