  I've never had a bigger run around experience with a contractor than with Good Deeds. A year long headache with this company. Owner is not to be trusted. Dishonest with quotes, scope management, timelines. He has an actual incentive program that encourages his crew to cut corners. The painting crews basically said nearly every job they show up at involves a mislead customer they're left to unravel. Buyer beware. Get actual references from recent customers. Check the RI contractor board. There's no way majority of the online reviews are genuine. If you still decide to go with Good Deeds, get every last detail in the contract, and then still be prepared to involve an attorney.

  I hope you are lucky enough to have Mike Checko and his crew work at whatever you have going on. I called him on a Wednesday and he traveled to my 2 condos in Newport on Thursday for lead inspections. He had his crew work over my 2nd floor condo on Saturday, 2 days later (!) since I had a tenant moving in on Jan 3. They completed that condo and finished the other condo the next week in 3 days! My condos passed the lead inspections! I’ve been renting out my properties since 1985 and in that time I’ve only had a handful of Great people but Mike leads any pack! Thank you Mike and crew.

  Worked with Mike's team on more than a dozen projects at this point to do Lead Remediation work. Mike is knowledgable, his team of estimators are fair industry professionals, and his crew is respectful of the space and their clients. Good Deeds is incredibly easy to work with, they're responsive, communicative, and incredibly detail oriented. It's amazing to me that their prices are as good as they are, but it becomes apparent that they have a community oriented mindset that drives their excellence and service. Can't recommend them highly enough.
