  Be aware that this company picks and chooses who they will do quality work for. They charged me a premium price and did the work that looks like an amateur company did it. I took my time looking for a company for this job and chose AEP because they are local and branched off from a reputable company. I also talked to another contractor that said I was in good hands with AEP. Last summer, I had a 6’ stockade fence replaced using existing metal posts. I wasn’t going to write a review but still angry every time I look at this fence and now looking for a company to fix the shoddy work. The fence panels had defective pickets that were noticeable. Inferior materials. Caps on poles not secured, problems with gate latches. I asked for a fence leveled on top, but they followed the ground. They trimmed the fence around the tree roots . Looks aweful! The estimate also included removing a chain link fence. They removed a small portion of the fence leaving wire spikes sticking out of the ground. There is more but just be aware. I was told I was taken advantage of since I’m a single, female. As this is probably true, I have hired companies that have done amazing work, fairly estimated, that went over and above and had integrity.

  Awesome experience from day one. 3 years ago we had our whole fence replaced by AEP, great service and install then. It continues today. I needed replacement for a panel that was damaged in a storm. It was a special order back then. Since, that supplier has gone out of business. The staff worked to find me a replacement that worked. Once I had the materials there was a discrepancy in one of the pieces. AEP's staff delivered the correct pieces. Absolute top notch!!!
