  So I have been a residential generator customer with Cox since 2014 (Generac 20kW) when they installed the new generator. Worked great (did not need it that often, but when we did it always worked). Was an annual maintenance customer for entire time—new battery or cellular connection on occasion, but all minor stuff handled very quickly. Happy customer for twelve years. Two or three years ago, technician warned me that because of the salt air where we live I would need a new generator in the next few years—made sense. May 12th was annual maintenance visit and technician confirmed the generator needed to be replaced (mobile app had stopped communicating a few months earlier so no surprise), So far, all good—five stars. So I say on May 12th, “No surprise, you all told me to expect this, let’s just get a new one installed.” Technician: “ Okay, great, we will send you the quote and go from there.” Two weeks go by, no quote; four weeks go by, no quote.” I call, get voicemail (of course) “Hey, waiting for my quote; do you want this business?” No response. I send an email to company (not technician in car he left), no response. Twelve year customer, annual maintenance user, all the connections, switch wiring is all ready for a new install and I have verbally told them I want to buy it. I’ve never sold generators before, but is this not the easiest sale ever? It’s now August 13th, three full months later and I still haven’t heard a peep (coincidentally, power just went out for first time this year). I called another dealer and ordered a new generator from them. SMH
