My house is over 100 years old. I wanted to convert from a tub to a walk-in shower. I found out the tub was an old cast iron tub. Appleby System was still willing to do the project. From the beginning of the process of choosing the materials and colors until the final cleanup after the installation, the employees were respectful, helpful, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Love my new shower!
Highly recommend this company.

The technicians did a beautiful job on my walk in shower. They took great care to not damage anything in my home by laying down protective covering over my entire staircase and the carpeting in my bedroom so as not to get my carpet dirty. The finished shower was magnificent to use and look at. The technician that took the measurements was very detail oriented.
Also, Alisha is a great representative for Appleby Systems.
I would recommend them to anyone who wants a walk in shower system installed.
Sincerely,
Judi

Very helpful in telling us how to fix the minor issue we had after almost 30 years of the windows being installed. We appreciate his help and professionalism!

We have to say that this company cares about their customers !! We have a special needs daughter, she is 17 and requires total care. We had a bathtub and needed a walk in shower accessible for her bath chair. Matt worked with us to make sure it was possible. From the beginning to the end they were super amazing. I would recommend them to family and friends. And this only took 1 man about a day and a half to have complete. Thank you, thank you again, The Heilman's

We were very pleased to have new windows put in and they are great at keeping the outside sound down and stopping the draft, however that's where our happiness stops. The length of time to have these windows FULLY installed took a month and a half. This began on April 23rd. On installation day, I was in the living room when I heard one of the installers say "oops" as he was adjusting something. A part came out of the window. He and the other installer had to look around on the ground to see if they could find this part. This was a second floor window, so whatever this part was, it was basically gone. The windows were "done" but we could not open them because without this one part, the top part of the window would come slamming down.
I need you to understand that the whole reason we got new windows was because we could not open them in the first place. They immediately called in for a replacement part and said we'd hear something by the end of the week. A full week went by with no follow up call. I made a phone at the end of that week (May 1st) and received an email (not a phone call) on the following Monday. They were very apologetic and said that the part was initially ordered but never received. It was requested a second time and to be Fed Ex'd. A repair person could not get out to us until May 11th. That date then had to be rescheduled for the following day (the 12th) because they could not make it in time.
The repair person (Jimmy) was friendly and knowledgable and got the part in with no trouble. He did a cursory inspection and found that certain parts of the window were not installed correctly, which required ANOTHER part to be installed. Additionally, the screen was ripped in the process of this service. We immediately contacted customer service and the woman we spoke with (Alicia) was very understanding and accommodating. She kept us in the loop for when the next part would be available.
A week later we receive a phone call that the part came, but it was the wrong one and it needed to be reordered. We had now hit a month and our windows were still not fully installed properly. A week after Memorial Day, we got the call that the part was in and that someone would be out on June 9th. Jimmy came again and was able to fix the screen and install the correct part with no trouble. We were grateful that it was done.
However, we received a phone call an hour after Jimmy had finished. It was from this company's sales department. They were asking if we wanted to take advantage of any deals and set up a new appointment for future window installation. Excuse me? We haven't had a fully installed set of windows for a month and a half and we're talking about spending more money? Not to mention the gentleman was pushy. I truly hope this was a matter of departments not talking to each other, because this individual should have known we were having issues. Future purchases are the furthest thing from our minds right now.
Will we be using this service for future window? Maybe. But we're feeling a little wary right now. How do we know the job will be done correctly this time?
