Dun Rite did the electric in my house. *I was given a 15k budget for my 1800sq ft. house. After walking through the house to show the electrician exactly what I wanted I was told the budget would go to 20k. I reluctantly accepted to keep the project timeliness rolling. From then on everything was done to the minimum standard allowable by code. *14 gauge wire was used instead of 12 gauge. *Wires were run directly in line with known cabinet locations risking screws hitting wires. *Eithernet and cable wires were never finished and left in a pile in the basement. With no ends. I had to finish that myself. I would have done that job myself had I known that not finishing the job was their standard. *Dimmer switches and 3 way wire locations were added as discussed. *2x the number of outlets were added to the house so outlets were every 6 feet. They wanted every 12 feet. When the breakers were inspected later I found that all the extra outlets were added to the existing breakers. I have 16 to 20 outlets on 1 breaker. Minimum standards all the way. *When lights were installed they complained that they would need to be assembled.....and money added to the bill. Lights do not ever come assembled. If i have to assemble the lights I may as well install them myself? *The house was left a mess after rough electric was finished. The drywallers said they would have to charge more to clean up or the piles of wood chips from drilling would be jammed behind drywall. *They even admitted they didn't put the 3 way wiring in or the dimmers to save money.....but charged me more to install the dimmers and said they would charge me more for the 3 way wire if I wanted them to run it as was discussed. *The bathroom has 4 lights. They initially ran 1 switch for all lights. I was clear every light and fan was to have its own switch. In the end I was charged more when I insisted they fix that. *In the end the final bill was not 5k more, it was 11.75k more. They didn't even do everything that was discussed. When I said, no we were told 5k, they said that was just the extra for the rough electric. *Bottom line, I will not work with this company again. Maximum money, minimum standard. Discussions don't mean work or pricing will remain the same. Cheapest everything required by code. A hand shake doesn't work with this company. If you chose to work with them you must have every single aspect of your job in writing. If you discuss changes, it goes in writing with pricing. *Out the door pricing must be discussed.

Had a technician come to my apt four times before finding out he needed a part after being rude and telling me about his 30 yrs of experience he came back with the wrong part, when he came back he wouldn’t say good morning and kept speaking to the maintenance person as he refused to speak to me. He is one of the rudest persons I have ever had to deal with. He first got upset because he wasn’t allowed to barge in early one morning without making arrangements to come and I was still sleeping. I pray I never have to come into contact with him again
