  How do I begin to thank the team at Windle Design & Construction for our amazing basement remodel?!? From the first encounter with Seth Windle to the last walk-through, we were provided with the best construction experience we could have ever hoped for. Two things stand out: quality build, and super responsiveness. The team kept us informed every step of the way. First, they made sure our design was precise before starting any work. Then, designer Ashley guided us through selections at their design studio in West Chester. Finally, Luke and Colton made sure the building process was timely, the work site was clean, and the outcome was exactly what we wanted. Thank you to the best design/construction team in Chester County, Windle Design & Construction!

  Long overdue review. We selected Windle Design for a basement demo and remodel in 2020. We primarily worked with Seth (owner), Ethan(project mgr) and Ashley (design architect). In challenging times, the Windle team did a great job. The project finished a bit behind schedule but most of this was beyond control (PA mandated work stoppage and supply chain issues). We primarily worked with Ethan who was super communicative and detail oriented. Ashley was very responsive and accommodating for changes in designs that we needed. The sub contractors did excellent work and worked seamlessly with Ethan. Overall very pleased with our new space. Highly recommended meeting and getting an estimate from them.

  Having recently moved to the area from another state, my wife and I purchased a stucco house and began having problems with it shortly after moving. After 3 years of dealing with sub-standard contractors, we enlisted the help of our previous out-of-state design and build contractor for recommendations. We found Windle through this process. Seth was fantastic; we had our first call in the summer of 2019, and we had a contract signed with work set to begin that November. Our home required the following: 1) full exterior renovation, converting the stucco to Hardie board siding, installing new windows and doors, and installing a portico, 2) widening garage bays and installing new garage doors, and 3) interior renovations, including office renovation, painting in multiple rooms, and a renovation of the master suite, including a brand new, redesigned master bathroom. The work took just under one year to complete, including a multi-week stoppage due to Covid restrictions. The final product is nothing short of spectacular. Windle's process is what sets them apart from others (and was very similar to our out-of-state design and build firm). Prior to the work starting (and to a lesser degree during initial demo), Seth spent considerable time working with my wife and I, and he pulled in his in-house design experts to help us align on the details (e.g., tile, fixture selections, etc.). As work began, our assigned project manager was onsite daily, providing us with verbal updates, along with email and text updates after hours. We were very much brought along during the process, and issues (as they do arise with projects of this scale) were clearly communicated along with recommendations for addressing them. The first comment I made to Seth on that first call during the summer of 2019 was that my wife and I were looking to build a long term relationship with a first class design and build firm. And we've certainly accomplished that. We look forward to working with Seth and his team as my wife and I continue to plan future renovation projects.
