- LKL KJun 22, 20261.0Terrible customer service & up charging by (3x) Received hard copy quote and then received doc to sign for more then triple the price. Communication was non-existent as I had to call daily for almost a week to get the contract (again, which was over 3X’s the original quote. Sarcastic and rude describes the demeanor towards customers. Would not recommend them. Try finding a smaller company, that’s what I did & am happier with the service & customer service.
- VMvicky MyersJun 3, 20265.0I am so happy with my purchase of Hunter-Douglas window shades and I wanted to write a positive review about my experience. When I first went to Avalon - on a cold February day - I walked in and said "I just want to look at some shades." The salesperson that helped me was Linda. Right away, I understood that she knew the product. She brought out multiple books, asked me questions about style and color and then helped me order samples. These early samples were not correct, but she was patient. We went back to the books and I ordered some more samples through March and April and finally in May I found the color and style that I wanted. As I write this I am glancing at the new shades and I could not be happier. Throughout this lengthy process Linda was thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable. I never felt any pressure from her to arrive at a quick decision. On the contrary, I sincerely felt that she had my best interests at heart - she was always professional and her knowledge about Hunter-Douglas was obvious. Finally, Linda always had consistent and clear communication with me throughout the entire process. I never had to wait days to get a response to any of my questions. This was my first experience with Avalon, but I can assure you that it will not be my last.

We carry remnants in our Rio Grande, NJ and Toms River, NJ showrooms. We also offer a full selection of ready-made rugs as well as an opportunity for custom rugs from a wide variety of vendors and brands.
Do you carry Tec grout?

Do you carry grout and mortar?
Yes, we carry a wide range of installation materials, including grout and mortar. We are a full stocking dealer of your most common grout and mortar brands, including TEC, Schluter, Wedi and more.
Do I need an appointment to talk to a store associate about my flooring or window project?
Appointments are not required in our showrooms and we do accept walk-ins. However, we do recommend making an appointment to speak with one of our store associates if you plan to arrive during peak visiting hours. Call your local showroom for an appointment.
Do you sell vinyl plank flooring?

Do you provide samples to bring home for review?
Many of our products do have samples that can be brought home. Depending on the product, you may be able to take those samples home the same day, or we may have to ship them to your home. For example, for hardwood, laminate, and vinyl we offer $5 samples that can be shipped directly to your home, while carpet samples are often available in store for customers to take home.
