All around outstanding and I couldn't be happier with my entire first experience with LGPH, and can't possibly recommend them enough!
The longer version: My existing central AC died. Not a pre-existing customer, I called Level Green that evening and left a message. They open at 8am and by maybe 8:03 the next morning I received a call back . Rocco came out mid-morning and very thoroughly assessed my existing setup and sq. footage to confirm the size unit I needed. He returned to his car for a short time to populate a quote for me then came back to explain (in depth) the details of the install, the equipment make and model, seer rating, and warranty info. Within this 30 minute or so visit, I was provided everything I possibly could have needed to know to replace my whole AC system.
Next, they were able to fit me in much sooner than I expected which is also greatly appreciated! Mike and Darren arrived on time to do the install. Both of them were extremely professional and thorough. They did an exemplary clean install inside for the new coil and likewise outside for the new condenser unit. Within just a few hours the new system was up and running. After the AC first kicked on, they still spent the time to monitor the coolant levels and add as needed, ensuring the system ran well and to its capacity. Later that evening, Rocco followed up with me to see how the install went and how the AC was working.
Almost a month later and the system is still perfect! Again, I highly recommend them! Of the other quotes I received, Level Green also had the best price. One of the other quotes gave me zero info regarding the make/model/seer rating/warranty and another quote was written up for the wrong (and an undersized) unit than what I asked for. No one else actually measured the sq. footage either to confirm the size unit I needed--they just took my word for it.

A man that I assume was a plumber came to my home to attempt to change out a faucet cartridge. The faucet was frozen into the counter. Earlier I attempted the job myself and scratched the chrome in 3 places. Rather than ruining the faucet I called level green plumbing and heating hoping they would have a unique tool and skill to remove it without damaging it. The plumber was able to remove the faucet but in the process ground a large portion of the chrome off by digging into it with channel locks. I asked him not to replace the cartridge in the ruined faucet. I would purchase a new faucet and install it myself. My thoughts are if the plumber didn’t think he could remove it without destroying it he should have told me so.
This man was in my home for 20 minutes, destroyed my faucet and then billed me $276. I won’t be calling them again.

Frequently Asked Questions About Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC
What is the average life expectancy of HVAC equipment?
Based on our professional experience at Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC, the typical lifespan of HVAC systems ranges from 10 to 20 years. As your system ages, you may notice decreased efficiency, increased noise, and more frequent repair needs. Given the advancements in heating and cooling technologies, installing a new, more energy-efficient system often makes financial sense, especially for units over a decade old. We can provide cost estimates for new systems and demonstrate how modern technology can lead to energy savings over time. For more detailed information, please contact our team.
How often should I change my air filter?
Regular replacement of your furnace's air filter is crucial. At Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC, we've observed that clogged filters restrict airflow, forcing your furnace to work harder to maintain desired temperatures. The frequency of filter changes depends on several factors, including the filter type, presence of pets, and the size of your HVAC equipment. For personalized guidance on filter maintenance and other HVAC-related matters, we encourage you to reach out to our experienced team.
Should I have my furnace and air conditioner serviced every year?
At Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC, we strongly recommend annual servicing of your HVAC system, at minimum. Regular maintenance is key to reducing energy consumption and repair costs, preventing unexpected breakdowns, and extending the lifespan of your equipment. Our experience shows that neglecting routine maintenance leads to a gradual decline in air conditioning performance and increased energy usage. For comprehensive HVAC maintenance and repair services, don't hesitate to contact our professional team.
How can I reduce my energy costs?
Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC suggests several strategies to lower your energy expenses. Upgrading to a high-efficiency air conditioning system can cut electricity bills by up to one-third. During summer, setting your thermostat above 75F can yield significant savings. Proper use of ceiling fans, adjusting blade direction seasonally, can enhance comfort and efficiency. Annual maintenance by licensed technicians ensures peak system performance. For heating, consider upgrading to a high-efficiency furnace, which can reduce fuel consumption by up to 50%. Installing a programmable thermostat allows for automated temperature control. Lastly, ensure unobstructed airflow around vents for even heat distribution. Contact us for more energy-saving tips and professional HVAC services.
How can I reduce allergens and improve the air quality in my home?
At Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC, we recommend installing a high-efficiency air cleaner to significantly reduce indoor allergens and pollutants. These systems can remove up to 99% of pollen, spores, and other airborne particles, resulting in cleaner, fresher indoor air. Additionally, a whole-house humidifier can alleviate discomfort associated with dry air, such as itchy skin and scratchy throats. Proper humidity levels also allow for lower thermostat settings without sacrificing comfort, potentially reducing energy costs. For expert advice on improving your home's air quality, please contact our team.
Why should I switch to a high-efficiency air filter?
Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC emphasizes the importance of high-efficiency air filters for both your HVAC system's health and your family's well-being. These filters are more effective at removing dust, dirt, pollen, mold, and other particles from the air. Proper filtration prevents accumulation of debris on your system, maintaining its efficiency and potentially reducing repair needs. For individuals with allergies or respiratory issues, high-efficiency filters are particularly beneficial. Regardless of the filter type, regular replacement is crucial. For more information about air filtration options, please consult with our experienced team.
Can carbon monoxide build up in my home?
Yes, carbon monoxide buildup in homes is a serious concern. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, this odorless gas claims over 200 American lives annually and leads to thousands of emergency room visits. Carbon monoxide is produced when carbon-based fuels don't combust completely. The only reliable way to detect this toxic gas is through carbon monoxide detectors. At Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC, we strongly advise installing these detectors in your home. If you experience sudden headaches, especially at night, or if family members are difficult to wake, evacuate immediately and seek medical attention. For further information about carbon monoxide safety or HVAC-related queries, please contact our team.
Why should I purchase a service agreement from Level Green Plumbing & Heating?
A service agreement from Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC offers protection against unexpected repair expenses. While no warranty covers every possible issue, our service agreements provide comprehensive coverage for many common problems. These agreements help maintain your system's energy efficiency at optimal levels, potentially reducing long-term maintenance costs. For a detailed explanation of the benefits and coverage offered by our service agreements, we invite you to contact our team.
What does the energy factor (EF) on my water heater mean?
The energy factor (EF) on your water heater, as explained by Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC, is a measure of the appliance's overall efficiency. It's calculated by comparing the energy in the heated water used daily to the total daily energy consumption of the water heater. A higher EF indicates greater efficiency, which typically translates to lower annual operating costs. While water heaters with higher EFs may have a higher initial cost, they often prove more economical over time due to energy savings. For more information about water heater efficiency or other plumbing and heating inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact our team.
What factors contribute to a high water bill other than leaking faucets and/or pipes?
At Level Green Plumbing & Heating, LLC, we've found that one of the most common sources of high water bills in residential plumbing systems is leaks in the toilet tank. These leaks often result from worn parts or misaligned components in the flushing mechanism. It's crucial to identify and address these issues promptly, as they can significantly increase your monthly water expenses.
