I called multiple plumbers to price out our plumbing issue and decided to go with 1-Tom. Dispatcher was nice and understood my needs when I called to schedule. She was quick to put me in touch with a technician. Landan came out promptly to assess and explained the work he would perform along with the pricing breakdown. Very happy with the work and professionalism from Landan.

I spent over $23,000 to have them fix and line pipes under my house. It was a lot of work and I was happy about it other than the concrete work. I rented a concrete sander and they reimbursed me. It was still hours of work and I had to take a day off. Then after winter I got water in my basement again. They forgot to tie my drain spout back into the pipe leading to the road. They came out to look at it. Said it would be thousands to dig the yard up and tie it back in. Then they offered to daylight the drain spout for $800. I told them that I wasn't paying anything for their mistake. This was their fix.

Casey Tomayko excels at customer service! From the time he came to my house to provide me with a second opinion/diagnosis and estimate, to the installation of the new sump pump grinder to replace the broken one, to the cleanup thereafter, it was nothing but a positive experience. When he came to do the estimate, he took the time to explain the reasoning behind the old sump pump grinder likely failing, allowed me the time and space to ask as many questions as I needed, and also made sure to check my electrical breaker box to ensure there was no damage to the electrical from the burnt out old sump pump motor. The two other companies that I'd had come out to diagnose and provide bids/estimates didn't even consider the electrical! While the first company to come was great initially, I didn't feel confident in the pricing they gave me (it was a range of $1800-2400, they couldn't give me a set price "until they started working") and the second company had an estimator come out (not the person who would actually do the work) and he talked into his phone to diagnose and get an AI generated workup, and admitted to me that they didn't do a ton of sump pump grinder repairs/replacements, and given that they came in at the highest price of all 3 companies, so I was left with a lot of questions and unease. When I went to ask questions, (because I am a conscientious, educated, responsible, single female and that's what I should be doing)...I was met with a bit of an attitude of, "Well, we're the professionals, so we know what we're talking about. Just trust us." I was also met with irritation from that second company when I said I was going to seek a 3rd bid. I loved that Casey was the one to visualize and diagnose the problem, make an assessment using his own 29 years of experience (not AI!), provide me an estimate, and then was the one to come and do the work. It was a completely comprehensive process, that was fully explained to me in a way that didn't make me feel like I shouldn't be asking questions. He is thoughtful, considerate, and hard-working. There were a couple of bumps in the road for scheduling or tech not functioning, but he persevered and got the job done! Highly recommend him to anyone! And highly recommend 1-Tom Plumbing overall due to the fairness of their pricing and ease of scheduling.

Initially called to have rocking toilet tightened. They installed a repair flange but it caused the toilet to sit almost an inch off the floor. So a second visit was needed. That second appointment had to be rescheduled after waiting all afternoon. The third appointment the plumber determined the flange needed replaced. And had to schedule another appointment. After opening the ceiling below the toilet and cutting out the old flange, I noticed they did not tarp off well enough. Black sludge was down the wall and on the carpet. They asked for cleaning liquid as they did not have any. After cleaning there were still streaks on the wall and spots on the carpet. Plus, there was debris on the carpet from the front door, up the stairs to the bathroom. We had to run the vacuum. I know it was a bigger job than initially thought but it just seemed it became more of a hassle than necessary. The plumber did replace the toilet supply hose at no additional charge and kept me updated along the way while here. So there were a few good points to go along with the bad points.

Changing my review first was great then it turned into the worst thing ever came to fix a pipe broken where main shut off valve was on my sidewalk before all this happened I have never ever had a leak ever in my house they came replaced pipe instead of putting dirt over pipes they decided to put all gravel down meaning any water that would ever get through would go straight to my basement and what happened my basement flooded badly they came decided let’s just use a foundation sealant to try to solve the problem nope hear we are again it’s leaking water out of the crack caused by taking old pipe out, made a crack somewhere down the line of removal and have been arguing with my husband about this saying at some point we need to install a French drain why we never had any leaking before the work was done I have lived here for years we paid 7200 dollars for what my basement to look like this now to Worry about mold starting possibly they wanted me to give a good review which I did at first and now I’m taking that review down cause this is unacceptable
