- CRChris RickardApr 9, 20265.0In Fall 2025, my wife and I decided to have stone veneer installed on our chimney and alcove in Spring 2026. Cain Contracting's Derick Knox and his son came out and spent 30-45 minutes figuring out what needed to be done and then provided a detailed and reasonable estimate. Having talked to several potential contractors who just eyeballed what needed to be done, I knew Cain Contracting was the right company for the job. As the weather got nicer in March, Derick reached out to get started. The project went really well despite the weather being uncooperative at times. Derick let us know every step of the way when they'd have to wait a day or so because it was too cold to safely put up the stone. Really great communication. We couldn't be any happier with the results (see the before and after pictures). Derick and his crew did a great job. We've been getting compliments from folks in the neighborhood about how good the house looks. I highly recommend Cain Contracting. If you need masonry services done right, reach out to them.
