- CPCynthia PowersJul 7, 20265.0I had 15 windows, a storm door, and an entry door replaced. Rick and Tara did the installation in a very timely and professional manner, answered all my questions, demonstrated how to open and close them for cleaning, and cleaned up their outside work area. I have white carpets and they were both very mindful to wear the booties in the house and cleaned up after they were finished each room. We did encounter one problem with the interior trim for the basement windows as it did not arrive until 1 day after they finished installing everything. Rick and Tara advised they would return later to finish the job. I had houseguests coming that weekend and did not get some of the windows cleaned until about a week and a half later. At that time I found that my porch window screen had a small tear in it so I called Window World and they sent Joey out within a week's time with a replacement screen and he had the job done within 30 minutes!

Some were aesthetic but one was functionality. When a kitchen cupboard door was opened, the door handle could potentially hit and break the new window. We were pleased when Joey came to evaluate our concerns. He quickly had an appointment scheduled to solve our issues. His work was fast and very well done. Both Joey and his assistant were very professional and personable.

Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
What type of warranty is available for my windows?

What happens to my old windows?
After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as it arrives for your installation.
