- GDGardening With DebJul 28, 20263.0The installer did not have the seam in his truck to seal the area between the shower base and my ceramic tile. He claimed I could buy it from Home Depot or Lowe’s. Why should I pay for it when he should have had everything to complete the installation. I still have not fixed this after several months. Someone called to asked how the installation went and I shared my complaint and the fact that the grab bar fixture has a problem with a ring coming loose. She said she would pass the information along. Heard nothing. So I called and got the same message and no one has called. I could have used West Shore but they are more expensive. I guess I have to hire someone to do this. Make sure your installation is totally completed. Shower looks beautiful but I am disappointed in this installation. The possibility of damage to my subfloor is critical.

The guys that installed the door did a good job of explaining everything and were very professional and got the door installed in a timely manner.
