I would highly recommend Basement Waterproofing Scientists for waterproofing and sump pump installation. I had a very good experience from start to finish. Darin performed a thorough inspection of the water damage on the walls in a utility closet in a corner of my basement. He explained how/why the damage had occurred and described in detail the waterproofing and installation processes to be done. He followed this up with an informative power point presentation. When writing up the proposal Darin listed the seven steps to be performed, included a small drawing and provided a cost breakdown of the total. I was happy that he honored the coupon I had from Clipper magazine. He was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly. He was also was very responsive to my follow-up questions after the fact. Once the job was completed the crew foreman invited me to inspect the work and explained each step performed clearly and thoroughly. The crew was hard-working and polite. They put up plastic and put down drop cloths for protection. The cleanup was immaculate inside and outside.

I am so glad I chose Basement Waterproofing Scientists to complete my basement issues. Darin's knowledge and professionalism with his proposal was genuine and gave me the confidence that my water issues would be taken care of. The work was extensive with a full perimeter system, replacing/moving exiting sump pumps, install wall pins, work around exiting appliances with zip drain, fill cracks interior and exterior, treat walls, install vapor barrier and tie in down spouts to exiting pipe. Darin and his team were excellent to work with from start to finish and completed the job in 3 days. In addition his warranty exceeded the others and price was competitive. The system is working great and now have a dry basement.

Honestly, I haven’t even gotten work done by these guys but I hope to in the future. I called to inquire about a getting an estimate for our wet basement following issues with another company we have been working with. Gabe answered the phone and I was blown away by his professionalism, patience, listening ear, and thorough explanation of things. Thanks Gabe! 5 stars!!

Darin Garvey and the team at Basement Waterproofing Scientists did an excellent job! They were highly recommended to us (at PATRICIAN SOCIETY IN NORRISTOWN) by friends who had used them on various occasions. Darian responded to our inquiry quickly, came out and did a thorough analysis, devised a plan and explained everything thoroughly. Then his team was here within days to begin the project. They worked efficiently for three days and explained what they were doing each step of the way. And every day before they left, they made sure our space was left clean and neat. And best of all, of course, our water problem has been solved! We at PATRICIAN SOCIETY can only give Darin and everyone at Basement Waterproofing Scientists our HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Spoke with Daren over the phone with some major water stuck in our basement wall. He asked me great follow-up questions and provided a lot of advice on how I should manage the next steps. Advised me to contact previous french drain installation company for warranty solutions and then followed-up with me about how my appointment went. Not only did he advise me in best course of action to fix the issue, but walked me through all the pros and cons we discussed. Overall, Daren and Basement Waterproofing Scientists are stand up people and super helpful. I would advise anyone to use this company and give them a call!
