  After my basement flooded, I was quite happy with AfterCare's work. They made it to my house quickly, and the restoration work seemed to be done efficiently and professionally. The issues I had were all around billing. When I received the itemized bill from AfterCare (make sure you request this!), I noticed that the services being charged for were listed two to three times more than what was actually done. When I raised this concern to the gentleman who provided the bill, he indicated that it was an error and my bill had been confused with another job they had done. Ok, fair enough, but, it was an odd explanation because the billing included floor plans and other factors that were obviously related to my basement. In any event, I walked him through the services that were in the original billing that were not actually rendered and he told me he would correct the invoice and send me a revised bill. When I received the revised bill, to my surprise the billed amount was still almost exactly the same. I would have thought the bill should have come down as we were removing services that were doubly or triply charged. While some of the incorrect line items had been removed, other new items that were also incorrect had been added so as to get to roughly the same invoice amount. Subsequently we went through multiple rounds of the same discussion in getting extraneous services removed from the bill, but always ended up with a total invoiced amount being about the same figure. All the while I was being pushed to pay the bill despite the obvious inaccuracies. To this day, I don't really understand what was going on. It seems to me AfterCare had an amount they wanted to bill in mind and the itemized list of services that were provided irrelevant. I don't think that's how it should work. It's frustrating enough when your basement floods. Going through getting it remediated with AfterCare and feeling like I was being taken advantage of made it even more so.

  Called these guys after my basement flooded and they were out right away and got right to work. They were professional and super easy to work with. I had had concerns about trying to save certain things in my basement and they worked with me to do that. Their communication was excellent and followed up on phone calls when adjustments were necessary. I highly consider Aftercare versus a national brand.

  AfterCare was quick to respond when our basement flooded after days of heavy storms and a broken sump pump. We called first thing in the morning and JT was there by 11:30. He was amazing! He was courteous and efficiently worked for 8 hours straight on his own removing water and soaked carpet pieces. He answered all of our questions and kept meticulous notes for a report we got documenting all of the equipment used, damages, etc. Dealing with a flooded basement is stressful enough and this company was so helpful and reduced a lot of our stress!
