Donnelly's has provided excellent service in my home for 30 years! Their service representative, Travis did a wonderful job of taking care of several plumbing repairs that were needed, all in one visit. Thank you for doing such a great job!

I had one of the guys come to my home in January and He gave me a very non- detailed quote for my heating and air conditioning. I told him I wasn’t gonna be ready till spring and that I would get other quotes and decide who I would go with. Well, it is May and I asked them to send me a detailed quote of what I would be getting with their company. I was texted back by Josh Clyne asking if I would share the other quotes that I received from other companies. I said no not until I receive your quote and I decide which company I’m going with. Which then Josh at Donnelly said, “ Understood, would you be willing to let us come back in person and compare estimates with the others that you received? We are not willing to email them to you in fear that you will share the estimates with our competitors.”. My response was, but you’re asking me to do the very same thing to other companies that you won’t do for me? Sounds unethical to me. And then he said, “ we can send someone out and go over everything with you at the house”. Wade was here in January for an hour and a half when he told me it was only going take 20 minutes to tell me about their company! I then told Josh I’ve wasted enough time with your company and now I don’t respect your company because you’re asking me to do something to other people that you’re not willing to do for me myself. The response with quotes is from the actual text! Saddens me that he actually wanted me to do that and didn’t think of how wrong it is to do it to others🤔😕

I recently purchased my first home as a middle-aged woman and was looking for both a plumber and an HVAC specialist. I decided on Donnelly’s since they do both and appeared to have good reviews. After speaking with Michelle about their comfort protection plan, which is supposed to both prioritize you as a customer AND save you money, I also signed up for that. I was specifically looking for someone to educate me about my water softening system, give me an estimate to replace the stopper in my bathtub that was not working, and replace a water filter in my refrigerator. I was told that as long as I had the water filter in hand, the technician could replace it for me. However, when the plumbing technician came out to my home, he told me that he could not replace the water filter without charging me $180. I declined that knowing that it was probably a two minute job and someone else would do it for a fraction of that cost. Turns out, I had a handyman scheduled to be out later that day and he installed it in less than a minute for $15. The estimate I was given for the stopper replacement/repair was over $1200. Therefore, I also declined that and got a second opinion that was half that price. The only repair I ended up having completed that day was something that my technician said was urgent and ended up costing me almost $800. My PSI was at 100 and I was told that it needed to be below 80 or my hot water heater could be significantly damaged. The job itself took about 30 minutes. That being said, I found Donnelly’s to be extremely overpriced, and the professionals working for Donnelly’s to give conflicting information. As a result, I do not plan to continue working with them and I would encourage anyone seeking quality work at a reasonable price to shop around.

We only needed a plumber to connect our washer and dryer back to the hot and cold water lines, that was it. It took the plumber 6 hours of messing around and they charged $900. They offered us a membership, which we absolutely declined yet we were still charged the $200 membership fee anyway. Complete waste of money and time

The folks at Donnelly’s are exceptional. Mike, Rob, Jimmy, Dan, James, and the rest of the crew were absolutely fantastic. They were responsive, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Mike handled all of the discussions with our insurance and Rob handled everything with PECO’s gas subcontractor. We are very impressed and will certainly use their services moving forward. They turned a crappy (literally) situation into a manageable and stress-free experience. They handled everything from top to bottom. 12/10 recommend. We can’t speak more highly of this crew and company!!
