  After purchasing a home in Mount Washington, Pittsburgh, I contacted Miller Plumbing, Heating & Cooling to service our hot water heater. During their inspection, they discovered that our existing gas water heater and furnace were venting through a chimney with a failed liner. Since the chimney was no longer safe to use for exhaust, both the water heater and furnace needed to be replaced to bring everything up to code. Allen came to our home, thoroughly assessed the situation, and took the time to explain our options without any pressure. He and Erick recommended the best solutions based on our needs, offered competitive pricing, and stood behind both their products and workmanship, which gave us a great deal of confidence. Just two days after we signed the contract, Allen and his apprentice arrived to replace our old gas water heater with a new electric water heater. They removed the old unit, completed all of the plumbing and electrical work to code, cleaned the area thoroughly, and left everything spotless. The following day, Allen returned with two apprentices to replace our furnace. Once again, the work was completed professionally, including the gas, electrical, venting, and exhaust systems, all installed to code. They cleaned everything before leaving, and you would never know such a major project had just been completed. Most importantly, they honored the original quote with no surprises. We couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Allen, Erick, and the team were knowledgeable, honest, professional, and respectful of our home. We will absolutely continue using Miller Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for future service and highly recommend them to anyone in the Mount Washington or greater Pittsburgh area. Their quality of work and customer service are truly outstanding.

  Outstanding service from start to finish. Our leaking water heater needed immediate attention, and while another company couldn't perform the work for over a week, Miller had a crew at our home the very next morning. Allan and his helper were professional, friendly, punctual, and did exceptional work installing our new water heater, pressure regulator, and expansion tank. The workmanship was beautiful, the cleanup was thorough, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We are 100% satisfied and would gladly use Miller again for future plumbing needs. Thank you, Allan, and the entire Miller team!

  This company charges an exorbitant diagnostic fee and then quotes inflated prices. I knew the issue beforehand and attempted to get a rough estimate over the phone, but they refused to provide any pricing until after collecting a $99 service fee. The subsequent quote was more than double the fair market rate, leaving me with a choice: forfeit the $99 or agree to their overpriced repair. Save your money and find an honest professional.

  Josh, from Miller plumbing, a very nice, thoughtful and well versed at his job, came to my house, told me what the problem was with my heater, fixed it in ample time and thanked him. It was during the cold spell we had in January. I will continue to call and use Miller Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. Thank you Miller.
