Groundworks did a great job waterproofing my basement! Very professional and thorough. The crew (Theron, Billy, Tyrell, and Hakeem) worked diligently to get the job done in a timely manner and walked me through the process every step of the way. Highly recommend Groundworks!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m writing this review on behalf of my father in Weirton, and he could not be more pleased with the work done by Groundworks Pittsburgh. Rich, Brandon, and Brody did an outstanding job on his basement, including the drain installation and waterproofing. They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure everything was done properly from start to finish. Just as importantly, they treated his home with respect and left everything clean and complete when the job was finished. The quality of their work and attention to detail really stood out. My father is extremely happy with the results and highly recommends Groundworks Pittsburgh and their team. A special thank you to Rich, Brandon, and Brody for a job very well done! Five stars and highly recommended!

After months of overly heavy rains, it became clear that the large basement in my 66 year old home had finally failed... I was taking on serious amounts of rain water. Grounds Works had done an excellent job on my parent's home, so I decided to give them a call. Bob came out and did a thorough assessment. He was professional and very knowledgeable. The end result solution was to install interior French drains, a sump pump, and a moisture barrier. All existing walls (old damp drywall, framing, & insulation) had to be removed first, so it was a big job. Theron, Billy, and Tyrell worked their tails off for 4 days. It was a messy & strenuous job. Theron runs a very cohesive ship. In the end, the work was excellent. The level of professionalism was above board. And with the amount of messy work involved, I was amazed at the level of "tidying up" that was done at the end. I've hired many contractors over the years, and this experience was definitely in the top tier. I highly recommend this company. Don't bother looking any further. My family has been very pleased with the end results on two very large projects. Thumbs up and thank you Ground Works.

My daughter recently called this company for an estimate due to having an issue with water getting into her basement. The gentleman that came to evaluate the issue and provide a quote was polite and professional. However, when he discussed the issue and the price for the work, it was phenomenal for what needed to be done…$16,000. He made it sound like such a sweet deal and when she made it clear that she’d get back to him after getting some other quotes, he had the nerve to say, “What’s stopping you from making a decision now?”. Well, obviously the padded price he quoted was the issue!! After careful research on some of the gentleman’s recommendations, my daughter found that the parts suggested could be found at a fraction of the cost in the estimate. I’m so glad she did her homework!! I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone who doesn’t know anything about this type of work unless they really research what the estimate says needs to be done. It seems like this man saw a beautiful home and then saw dollar signs, instead of giving a fair and honest opinion. Since then, my daughter has had 2 more inspections and estimates…neither were anywhere near the cost of this ridiculous one. The estimates did come from 2 very reputable companies and the one she’s considered going with is $7,500, which is a fraction of what was proposed to her by this company to do the same work, but do it honestly.

WOW you responded in record time after the bad review where have you been for the last 6 months? You said in your response you would contact me still nothing but broken promises. Potential customers BEWARE they destroyed my foundation wall while doing a simple driveway lift. They promised to come back the next day to install carbon fiber straps and then nothing. It's been 6 months they won't return phone calls and they refused to hand over insurance information. I don't believe they carry insurance, because they are being sued constantly
