  Our home was built in the 1860s, so we knew renovating it would come with plenty of challenges. We originally hired New Market Builders after a cracked pipe forced us to gut a second-floor bathroom. After seeing Lauren, Michael, and the team's work, we asked them to redesign and renovate our entire first floor, including our kitchen. As expected with an old home, we ran into plenty of unexpected challenges along the way. What stood out was how the team handled them. They never looked for the easiest solution or cut corners. They worked through every issue with us and stayed focused on getting the end result right. Lauren has an incredible eye for design and found creative ways to make our home more functional without sacrificing the character that made us love it in the first place. Renovating a 150+ year-old home isn't easy, but having the right team makes all the difference. We couldn't be happier with the finished result and would recommend New Market Builders without hesitation.

  New Market was lovely to work with at every step of the way. Between staying on time and on budget, keeping my house and yard clean, communicating every day about progress and challenges, proactively coming up with solutions for unexpected events, and just being incredibly conscientious people all around- I whole heartedly recommend them. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get Tom as your site manager. He’s the best.

  We worked with New Market Builders to complete a fairly complex project in our last home. They removed a load-bearing wall, opening up our Fishtown row home from front to back which required engagement with a structural engineer. Start to finish, we found them responsive, punctual, respectful, and creative. We felt completely confident in the critical structural decisions that were being made as well as the advice we received on floor finishes, etc. They brainstormed a unique steel channel header (rather than the boring wood/drywall version) and even repurposed an original piece of wood when finishing the channel, adding a ton of charm to our old rowhome. We would 100% use them again and recommend them to friends.

  EXCELLENT REMODELING!! Such as all new kitchen with top appliances, a new laundry room and a new powder room. Moved heater and water tank to accommodate the laundry room etc. Wonderful results. Constructed a bay window, reasonably priced and done in a timely manner. Excellent results. ALWAYS AVAILABLE WHEN NEEDED. LEFT EVERYTHING PERFECTLY CLEAN. I WOULD ALWAYS USE THEM FOR UPGRADING MY HOME. NEVER HAD BETTER WORK DONE OR BETTER WORKERS.

  I cant say enough good things about New Market Builders. They are extremely professional, responsive and do incredible work! From design to build, we have been very happy and will not use any one else for our construction or design work. Thank you!
