Sean was so knowledgeable at the home inspection I received from him. I wish I can rate his service past the number 10. I will definitely use Eagle Inspections in the near future again. I will also be telling anyone that I know that needs an home inspection to check this company out they’re the best at what they do. Thank you so much.

When looking at purchasing a new home, I signed up online for an inspection with Eagle. They had a decent amount of available dates/times which made the process to sign-up very easy. I chose Luis as my inspector and he told me his background, and we went through the home with no glaring issues. He took plenty of photos, walked me through his process as we went from room-to-room and provided a through report.

Phenomenal job. We hired them for home inspection, sewer scope, Radon inspection, and pool inspection. Their reports are better than what we've seen in the past. They're friendly, on time, and really responsive. If I called or texted they answered the phone and got back to me right away. They sent their reports over to me right away as well. 10/10, will definitely be using them again and will be recommending them to others.

Chris Villa came out to inspect my in-laws very old house in Norristown today to prepare for sale. He was very professional, friendly and thorough. Went through each area providing recommendations, showing us the drone footage and camera stills. Its 100 degrees today but he still took the time to thoroughly inspect every aspect of the home. We were more than impressed. Appreciate his time, his professionalism and his consideration- even more so being it is a holiday weekend. Would highly recommend Eagle Inspections and Christopher Villa.

If for some reason they can’t complete their inspection, even if it’s completely out of your control, you will still get fully charged. Other places will only charge a fee for the person coming out or won’t charge at all so be aware that if someone lazy comes out and spends 10mins trying to solve a problem and are unable to, you’ll still have to pay hundreds. As if buying a house isn’t already extremely stressful, now you have to worry about the company you’re hiring to help you in this process actually be the ones taking your money after no work has been done. Call another company and ask if they’ll charge if the inspection is unable to be completed, they will tell you no, because it doesn’t make sense. I already went against what my realtor said, I was going to work with this company even though she said she has had client have terrible inspections done because of all the good reviews. Just be wary, ask what their policy is beforehand etc. don’t get scammed when buying a home is already expensive and extremely stressful.
Frequently Asked Questions About Eagle Inspections
What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a non-invasive visual examination of a residential dwelling. It's designed to identify observable material defects within specific components of the dwelling on the day of inspection. While it won't reveal every possible issue, it provides an evaluation of the overall condition of the home. The inspection focuses on the visible and apparent condition of the structure and its components at the time of inspection, rather than predicting future conditions.
What does the home inspector inspect?
Our home inspectors thoroughly examine various components of the property, including the electrical system, heating/boiler system, plumbing, foundation and framing, roof, walls and ceilings, windows and doors, siding, insulation, exterior, attic, driveway, garage, grading, basement or crawl spaces, and interior water penetration issues.
Are termite and radon included in the general home inspection fee?
Termite inspections and radon testing are not included in the standard home inspection fee. We offer these as additional services. When combined with a home inspection, termite inspections cost $95.00, while radon testing is priced at $145.00.
How does pricing work?
Our pricing is based on the square footage of the home and its year of construction. For duplex or multi-unit properties and commercial spaces, additional charges apply.
Should I attend the home inspection?
We strongly encourage you to attend the home inspection. It's an educational opportunity where you'll learn about the current condition of the home and how to maintain it in the future. Your presence allows you to ask questions directly to our building expert, maximizing the value of the inspection.
How long does the home inspection take?
The duration of the inspection varies depending on factors such as the size and age of the home, and whether anyone is attending. On average, our inspections typically last about two hours.
What is the home inspector's background?
Our inspectors come from diverse professional backgrounds, including roofing, electrical work, plumbing, building maintenance, pest control, home restoration, and general contracting. If you have concerns about a specific area of the home, please let us know when scheduling, and we'll match you with an inspector who has relevant expertise.
What makes our inspection reports superior?
Our comprehensive inspection reports include numerous photographs from the inspection, repair estimates, an extensive index of home maintenance tips, and guidance on post-inspection procedures.
What is radon? Do I need it when buying or selling a home?
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that forms when uranium in soil, rock, and water decays. It's the second leading cause of lung cancer and poses a health risk when it accumulates to dangerous levels inside buildings. Since we spend significant time in our homes, it's important to have your property tested for radon. The gas is only a concern indoors, not outside.
Can a house fail inspection?
A house cannot 'fail' a home inspection. The inspection is a visual examination and objective assessment of the property's current condition. Our inspectors describe the physical state of the house and indicate which components and systems may require repair or replacement.
